This article is called, “Christianity verses Churchianity.” I submit how those 2-sound similar, but they are totally opposites. The sad part really is the fact that even many Christians, do not know they difference. Another thing that is shameful, is the fact that Churchianity has already replaced Christianity in hundreds of Churches. More than likely someone is already confused and wondering what in the world is he talking about? I will try and give a simple explanation. It is when Christianity and Christ have been replaced in the church, and what goes on in the church takes priority over Christ and Christianity. I also agree with “The standard of truth ministries“, in their assessment of Churchianity. I am using some of their teaching.  They state there are actually different flavors of wickedness in these churches.

I truly believe their churches so-called ministry and their programs, are their focal point and priority in their church.  You have to wonder if Jesus would even be welcome there. Let me explain more for a better understanding. The modern church has lost self-awareness of their own sin, they are unable to preach the truth from the pulpit about anyone sin. They are in no position to hold anyone accountable, because they have a blind spot of their own.

They are doing things that are not reflective of Christ in any way. The body of Christ suffers for it. If you are expecting to go to church and hear the gospel message of Christ, that might lead to conviction, repentance, and conversion, you are not going to hear that. You will get the latest political view from the pulpit, or some positive affirmation, or some kind of works-based Salvation, that will lead you to hell, apart from the saving grace of God. What is taking priority and precedence in the church? What is the real agenda? (Per April).

CHURCHIANITY IS A BUSINESS

Come on in and join us, we have great fellowship. You will fit right in. Then they sell everything from their own “ANNOINTED NOSE BOOGERS” to “GET RICH QUICK BOOKS.” Stating I am rich, so buy my book that will tell you how to be rich. I have a large mansion, and two jet planes, so here is how you can get yours. Worldly standards and business are such a large part in Churchianity. It has to be because “God wants everyone to be rich, healthy and Wealthy.” And if you are not then you do not have enough faith. As extra bonuses, you get to meet and greet with celebrates from all over the country. We have many stars who come here, and only charge a small fee for the autograph or picture with them.

Now release your faith. Sow your seed faith and God is obligated to increase it. “NAME IT and CLAIM IT“. Remember Jesus said in John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Do not let the thief (SATAN) steal your blessing that God has promised you. Then you have to look at what is Ethical behavior and idolatry in worship. And do not forget the correct Political Opinion, will be pushed from the pulpit. If you noticed I used the words “ETHICAL BEHAVIOR.”

Churchianity is political and deals with political issues and ethical behavior. Their firmly believe in Womens health care but will NOT defend the right to life of a baby in the womb. That is a woman’s choice. That is like trying to walk on both sides of the street at the same time. Churchianity puts everything else above Christ and true worship. In their sermons they will occasionally throw in the name of Christ. Pastors are addicted to their own power, authority and popularity. It is more about Religious human achievement. You have to ask, what altar are they worshiping at? To many pastors are masquerading as God’s Servant. They have a worship experience, but is it true worship, who or what is being worshipped, or “Entertained.”

People do center their life around church life and church culture. This can do much damage when their faith and trust is in the church and not Christ. You have to ask; how many things are “ANTI-GOD” in Churchianity? Why do churches celebrate what God does not tolerate. Churchianity has a false social gospel, rather than the gospel of Christ. Why does fame and power and prestige dominate Churchianity? Wells 4B said, “They have a fake Christianity. These people are playing church. Entertaining each other with feel good messages and singing, but never building any kind of true relationship with our father, or the fear of his judgment that’s coming into the world. I oh, so feel so sorry for these lost souls.” There is truth in what he said. I do not know if they really do have a personal relationship with God. I do see a lack of morality in Churchianity.

THE CULTURE OF IMPORTANCE

Think about this. We live in a culture of importance. The elite’s verse’s the normal person. What they have or do is what makes them important or superior. Just look at Hollywood, Politicians, the rich and the famous. This is what makes them important. Unfortunately, the culture of importance runs deep in Churchianity. They are the center of attraction, rather than Jesus Christ. Every true church will be Christ Centered, not man centered. Why are there different brands of Christianity when there is only one Christ? 

I have written many articles here on my website and studied for years. I have watched this movement and how they have digressed away from the true faith in Jesus Christ. I have also watched hundreds of videos of their Churchianity services. Here is what I see and witness. They have replaced the gospel of Jesus with “PERSONAL RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO THEM.”

I want to show you here a short video clip that is only 1 1/2 minutes long. This is a video of Churchianity. It is Kenneth Copeland, who claims to be a modern-day Prophet, and Apostle, blowing the wind of God on “COVID-19” and making it go away. Mr. Self-Importance giving out another Fake Religious Experience. By the way, COVID-19 did not go anywhere. You will laugh.

This is one of the Charlatans leaders of Churchianity. Those who claim all the power, authority and miraculous gifts the Apostles had in the first century. As the Bible says those miracle gifts ceased with the death of the Apostles. And when the books of the Bible were completed. John was the last Apostle to die, but not before he finished the last book in the Bible, the book of Revelation.

CONCLUSION

I have had my website here for 9 years. I have written many articles about this. Paul said, in Acts 20:29-30 “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.” The word “DECEPTION” is used many times in the Bible. The Apostle Paul used it many times in saying, “DO NOT BE DECEIVED.” I believe Deception is one of the greatest tools Satan has used and still uses today. It was deception which caused the fall of mankind in the garden of Eden. All of creation fell there with Adams sin. Eve was deceived, Adam was not. 

Is lying deception? The content author says, “Lying refers to intentionally giving false information, while deception refers to any act that misleads or manipulates someone. This means that deception can include lying, but it can also include other tactics such as omission, exaggeration, or even telling the truth in a way that is meant to mislead.” Lying and Deception have been around since the creation of mankind, and it is still here today. Mankind learned well how to use lying and deception, to manipulate others for various reasons. We use other words for this and call it fake, false, and other words.

Maybe I can use another word to help us. The word is “COUNTERFEIT.” It is not real and genuine. It looks good, it feels good, but it is inferior. Many do not recognize a counterfeit. Our society has come up with another name for counterfeit and that is “knock-off. There are many Religions in this world, but they are counterfeits, not genuine. Religion and salvation are opposites. Religion is based on what you do. Salvation is based on what Jesus Christ did for us. In Religion you work and perform for Salvation, that is a works salvation which is no Biblical salvation at all.

In true salvation it is putting your faith and trust in what Jesus Christ did for us with his death, burial and resurrection for all sin. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Only Jesus satisfied God, Not, our works. Jesus alone bought our forgiveness.

Scholars and historians have traced back as far as they can go and says there has been 4200 false Religions started since time as we know it. I personally believe that Satan started every one of those counterfeit Religions. His purpose being to keep people away from God and true Salvation. THERE IS YOUR DECEPTION. With a counterfeit you try to get as close to the genuine as you possibly can. In this Religious movement it is the same.

They use biblical words, claim biblical gifts that ceased with the death of the Apostles. And claim biblical authority, from the Apostles and Jesus. That is what deceives people. And “RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCES” are wanted and accepted, in this movement. Let me post the verse again. 

Acts 20:29-30 “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. The video below shows many of those grievous wolves and how they use deception, and counterfeits to appear real. Believing and accepting a counterfeit will only get you to hell. Let me prove this to you with the very words of Jesus, Matthew 7:22-24 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? ²³ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” 

Believing and accepting Jesus Christ and his payment for sin will get you to heaven. You have free will and the ability to choose, which one do you want and choose? Religious personal experience cannot and will never satisfy God or give you true Salvation. Only Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for our sins does satisfy God for us. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he (GOD) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Will you bow your heart, turn from yourself and turn to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation?
