This article is called, “Did Jesus Die Catholics Only?”. I do expect criticism from different sects, divisions and denominations. But it is a doctrine that must be discussed. If this be true then, the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ was not for all humanity. This would also mean that the “WHO SO EVER WILL,” means nothing and is incorrect. I am an old man who has served God 48 years. I was saved and born again by the blood of Jesus in 1975 and became a Christian (not a Catholic). I wanted to learn and know more about God to be able to help others. I was blessed to be able to go to Bible College for 5 years.  I was called by God to preach in 1984. 

HERE IS THE OFFICIAL DOCTRINE AND POSITION OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

“In the encyclical Mortalium animos of 6 January 1928, Pope Pius XI wrote that “in this one Church of Christ no man can be or remain who does not accept, recognize and obey the authority and supremacy of Peter and his legitimate successors” and quoted the statement of Lactantius: “The Catholic Church is alone in keeping the true worship. This is the fount of truth, this the house of Faith, this the temple of God: if any man enters not here, or if any man go forth from it, he is a stranger to the hope of life and salvation.”^[19] Accordingly, the Second Vatican Council of 1962–1965 declared: “Whosoever, […] knowing that the Catholic Church was made necessary by Christ, would refuse to enter or to remain in it, could not be saved.^[9] In the same document, the Council continued: “The Church recognizes that in many ways she is linked with those who, being baptized, are honored with the name of Christian, though they do not profess the faith in its entirety or do not preserve unity of communion with the successor of Peter.”^[20] And in a decree on ecumenism, Unitatis redintegratio, it stated: “Catholics must gladly acknowledge and esteem the truly Christian endowments from our common heritage which are to be found among our separated brethren. It is right and salutary to recognise the riches of Christ and virtuous works in the lives of others who are bearing witness to Christ, sometimes even to the shedding of their blood. For God is always wonderful in His works and worthy of all praise.”^[21]

The Catholic Church teaches that the fullness of the “means of salvation“ exists only in the Catholic Church, but the church acknowledges that the Holy Spirit can make use of ecclesial communities separated from itself to “impel towards Catholic unity” and thus bring people to salvation in the Catholic Church ultimately. It teaches that anyone who is saved is saved through the Catholic Church but that people can be saved ex voto and by pre baptismal martyrdom as well as when conditions of invincible ignorance are present,^[22] although invincible ignorance in itself is not a means of salvation.”

Orthodoxy

The Eastern Orthodox Church (officially the Orthodox Catholic Church) identifies its confederative communion of Orthodox churches as the “One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church” of the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed and applies this title in conciliar and other official documents, for instance, in the Constantinople synods held in 1836 and 1838 and in correspondence with Pope Pius IX (r. 1846–1878) and with Pope Leo XIII (r. 1878–1903).^[24]

The Roman Catholic Church teaches that Christ founded only “one true Church”, and that this one true Church is the Catholic Church with the bishop of Rome (the pope) as its supreme, infallible head and locus of communion.^[8] From this follows that it regards itself as “the universal sacrament of salvation for the human race”^[9] and the “only true religion”.

I guess you may wonder why I posted all of these links? I wanted to provide these links to show and prove that this is the official Roman Catholic Doctrine and Dogma. I will boldly say, “This is a doctrine from hell or the mind of sinful men, it is not a doctrine from heaven.”

Saint Cyprian (died A.D. 258) “You cannot have God for your Father if you have not the Church for your mother.” So, Do you believe this one?

DID GOD LIE?

Hebrews 6:18-19 King James Version (KJV) that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil.

Isaiah 42:8 “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not share with another.” WILL YOU ACTUALLY SIT OR STAND AND CALL GOD A LIAR? You must believe that God has given man total control over Salvation if you believe all of the false Catholic Doctrine and Dogma. God does not rule in heaven while the Pope rules on earth. 

Acts 4:12 King James Version (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (JESUS) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Who said this? PETER DID. John 10:28 “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Jesus said this not any POPE. The Catholic Church did not exist.

John 11:25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” Eternal life is in Jesus Christ, not any church. The Apostle Paul said, Romans 1;16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Paul also said, I Corinthians 2:2 “For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” The Apostle Paul’s message was always the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Dear Reader, I have studied Catholicism longer than most have been alive. Catholics do not study the Bible, Gods Word. They are only encouraged to study the Roman Catholic Catechisms’, (ROMAN CATHOLIC DOCTRINE AND DOGMA.) Where did the Catechisms came from, after the Protestant Reformation (DO YOUR HOMEWORK). The war with Protestant Christians the Catholic church did not win. They did not want anyone having a Bible, Gods Word in their own language. The Vatican was determined to control everyone’s Salvation and fought wars over it. GO SEE FOR YOURSELF. 

I truly fear Catholics do not have any idea of their own Church History especially the “CRUSADES.” This was a bloody vile time in Catholic History where the church invaded countries and used “FORCED CONVERSIONS” ON NATIONS OR DIE.” To summarize briefly, the crusades were attempts in the 11th through 13th centuries A.D. to reclaim land in the Middle East that had been conquered by Muslims. The crusades were brutal and evil. Many people were forced to “convert” to Christianity. If they refused, they were put to death. The idea of conquering a land through war and violence in the name of Christ is completely unbiblical. Many of the actions that took place in the crusades were completely antithetical to everything the Christian faith stands for. THIS IS YOUR UNHOLY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, DRUNK WITH POWER AND DOMINATION.

CONCLUSION

“DO YOU HAVE A BRAIN? DO YOU THINK GOD IS STUPID?” Go find a dog house, get in it and chain yourself to it. Bark like a dog, eat dog food and bark at the moon. That will not make you a dog. Go sit in a man-made church, do all Religious thing you can, but that will not make you a Christian.  “RELIGION WILL KILL YOU BUT JESUS WILL SAVE YOU.” Take all the wafers and juice you want to, it will never wash your sins away. Perform all the 7 Sacraments all the time. It will not get you to heaven. “THAT IS YOUR WORKS AND PERFORMANCE. Your salvation is based on your performance and work in the Catholic Church. They control your salvation. And if you are not a good little Catholic then they will ex-communicate you and you lose your salvation. (DOGMA). 

God did not send the Catholic Church to control your life and salvation by sinners themselves. How can sinners save sinners from sin? God sent His only begotten son to come and die on a cross, shed his blood and pay for ALL sin. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the only payment for sin that God will accept. That is forgiveness, acceptance and Salvation by God. That is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Salvation is in JESUS not any church. Jesus said, John 10:28 “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Real salvation is in putting your faith and trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. NO ONE CAN OR WILL EVER CONTROL YOUR SALVATION BUT JESUS. 

Jesus said, John 11:25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:²⁶ And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” Any so-called church, ANY that thinks they control your salvation is a false church. NO CHURCH went to the cross and died and paid for your sins-JESUS DID, Jesus satisfied the Father, can I prove that? ABSOLUTELY. Isaiah 53 Jesus is on the cross suffering for us, here is what God said,

Isaiah 53:10-11 “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.¹¹ He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.” Even the very SOUL of Jesus was a payment for sin. Jesus satisfied God for us and gave us eternal salvation and forgiveness with him. 

Dear Reader, I really am not a mean old man and I have not written this article to blast you or put you down. Heaven is real and so is hell. There is only one way to salvation and that is through Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for sin. No church can duplicate or replace that. THERE IS TRUE FREEDOM IN JESUS CHRIST. John 8:36 “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” The church wants to control you, the SON wants to set you free, and this is your choice. 

I wish you could meet my friend Lyn, she is my sister in Christ. She was Catholic for over 50 year, she wanted to be Marian. I was blessed to lead her to the Lord and she found real Salvation. She will tell you that she received Salvation through Jesus Christ and that she has been “SET FREE.” No more control. Her fear of work and performing in the church has gone. She enjoys her Salvation and serves God. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ⁹ Not of works, lest any man should boast. This verse has 2 opposites, and they are God’s GRACE and human WORKS. 

God’s Grace is free and given to you in Salvation. To the dear Catholics who are reading this article. Your WORKS and PERFORMANCE will not get you to God. Your WORKS in all of the Rituals you do, in the Sacraments you do, will not get you to Christ and heaven. ARE YOU NOT TIRED OF BEING CONTROLLED? God never intended on you living a life of fear and control. IT IS NOT BIBLICAL BUT IS MAN MADE.

Are you willing to break the chains of Slavery to a system, that will not save you? Simply put, We are the sinners. Jesus is the Savior; Jesus came to save sinners. Jesus came to set us free in Him not to put us in bondage. The death, burial and resurrection paid for our forgiveness and acceptance from God. Will you bow your heart and turn to Jesus? Will you receive Him as you own personal Lord and Savior? Romans 10:13 says, “FOR WHO SO EVER SHALL CALL (ASK) UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.” He will deliver and give you complete Salvation.
