This article is called,”Ego Stroking Messages” I guess the real question should be who’s Ego” Tell me something nice and sweet. Make me tingle all over. Let me laugh and smile and I might even get up and shout or run. What Hypes you up? Your ego or their ego? I believe the answer must be “BOTH.” Lets get a definition of “EGO.” “A person’s sense of self-esteem or self-importance: “a boost to my ego” The self especially as contrasted with another self or the world. So if a person seems to begin every sentence with “I“, it’s sometimes a sign of a big ego. Ego has a twin brother called conceit.” Websters Dictionary. In many people it has become a false reality. We see this attitudes in many walks of life and most people knows someone whom we call a “EGO MANIAC.” Most of what they have to say is simply a “BRAGFEST.”
Let me give you just one example of “EGO STROKING” from so-called men of God. I will post a short 8 minute video of these fakes and Charlatans for your enjoyment. HOW SELF IMPORTANT THEY ARE.
In my life I have worked for more than one millionaire. I have actually had them come up to me and say, “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?” (No Joke.) Who they are, and what they do is what makes them so important in their own mind. So every one should just bow down and praise them. We see and deal with this most of our entire life. Hollywood has always fostered this attitude with their stars who have “STAR POWER.” And there are so many that wants to follow them, that is the sad part.
Unfortunately, I have to speak about ego maniacs’ in churches around the world. You have smooth talking, Prosperity gospel preachers who hold a Bible, they quote select scriptures, and they give ego stroking messages, to draw and sucker you in to their beliefs. False doctrines and mind control, getting you to empty your bank account so that you can make a deal with God. The more you give the more you get. That is a fake theology. People tend to forget that even Satan knew how to pervert God’s Word. When people do not get the promised blessings promised by the church, they lose their faith and quit. These movements feed the sheep, “goat food.”
JUST TELL ME HOW GOOD I AM
As gotquestions.com says, “While the word ego does not appear in the Bible, concepts and principles regarding the ego certainly do. The word ego generally refers to an exaggerated sense of self-importance, which usually results is an excessive preoccupation with “self.” But dying to self, the polar opposite of ego, is the biblical model for Christians. The Bible is filled with admonitions against the self because of man’s inherent desire to be worshiped. In fact, all the various forms of modern idolatry have self at their very core. The dark forces of this age have convinced many that contentment is achieved only by satisfying the urges of the self. And we can trace this all the way back to the Garden of Eden where Eve became stirred by Satan’s lie that she could “be like God” (Genesis 3:5).
The opposite of ego is humility, and both the Old and New Testaments are laden with references to living humbly. In the book of Micah we read, “What does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8). King Solomon declared, “Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life” (Proverbs 22:4). One verse that epitomizes why we are to be humble is Peter’s exhortation in his first epistle: “All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5, emphasis added).
Indeed, Scripture makes it clear that God hates pride and arrogance (Proverbs 8:13). In fact, it was pride that turned Lucifer into Satan.Isaiah 14:13-14 describes Satan’s astounding focus on self: “I will ascend…I will raise…I will sit… I will ascend…I will make myself like the Most High.” This is a perfect example of pride going before destruction (Proverbs 16:18), for in the next verse in Isaiah we see where Satan’s pride got him: “But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit” (v.15). Christ reiterated the fate of the proud, warning that “whoever exalts himself will be humbled” (Matthew 23:12). Clearly, an inflated ego and its focus on self are not in keeping with the Christian call for humility. Rather, it is the antithesis of what characterizes true Christians—dependence on God and service to others.
A humble heart has no room for ego or pride or arrogance because it recognizes that all we have and all we are comes from God, as Paul reminded the Corinthians: “For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?” (1 Corinthians 4:7). Every gift, every talent, every breath we take—all are from God, as is our most precious gift, salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9). “Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded…by the law of faith” (Romans 3:27).
Jesus Christ is the perfect example of humility (Mark 10:45; Philippians 2:5-8). “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29). Indeed, Jesus did not come to earth to be served, but to serve, making “himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant” (Philippians 2:7). We see an expression of Christ’s selfless attitude in the Garden of Gethsemane when He said to His Father in heaven, “Yet not as I will, but as you will” (Matthew 26:39), and then on the following day when He humbly endured the tortures of the cross so that we could be reconciled to our Father in heaven.
Paul is another beautiful example of humility in action. And even though he was perhaps the greatest advocate of Christ there ever was, he still considered himself as the “least of the apostles” and the “worst” of sinners (1 Corinthians 15:9;1 Timothy 1:15). He always encouraged those who followed Christ to emulate Jesus’ humility, encouraging them, and us, to “do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves,” adding that we should not simply look to our own interests, but also to the interests of others (Philippians 2: 3-4; Romans 12:10). That is the essence of humility and the opposite of ego.” END QUOTE.
Jesus taught us that the greatest commandments were to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and to love our neighbor as we love our self. When you understand and live this way it will NOT be “I WILL” but it will be “THY WILL.”
CONCLUSION
Lets put all of this under the heading of “THE NEW APOSTOIC REFORMATION.” New age movement. Wokeism. Word of faith movement. Gods New Generals-NOT. They hold no accountability, or Responsibility, to no one. Spiritual abuse and deception. FALSE DOCTRINES, FALSE MIRACLES AND HEALINGS. NEW REVELATIONS FROM GOD. FALSE PROPHETS OFFICES, PROSPERITY GOSPEL, DOCTRINES OF DEVILS. HEALTH AND WEALTH SO CALLED GOSPEL. And the list goes on and on.
They have a false gospels, that is leading people to hell. They are heretics and charlatans. THEY WILL SPECIALIZE AND GIVE YOU A FALSE CONVERSION WITH AN EMOTIONAL HIGH, MAKING YOU BELIEVE IT IS SALVATION. CONVERTS BELIEVE IN THE CHURCH RATHER THAN THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST FOR SALVATION. THE CHURCH BECOMES THE SAVING INSTITUTION, NOT CHRIST. AFTER ALL, THEY HAVE ALL THE POWER AND AUTHORITY-CORRECT? THERE IS SO MUCH EGO STROKING IN THIS MOVEMENT. In addition they have formed their own “WORKS BASED SALVATION. Now this only leads people to hell.
There is no other Salvation that will ever get you to heaven except the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ-plus nothing, minus nothing. II Corinthians 5:21 “For HE (GOD) hath made HIM (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” This is what God says will give you Salvation and Forgivness of Sin. God said, Isaiah 42:8 ““I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”
I will plainly state on the authority of God’s Word and His authority, The New Apostolic Reformation Movement and other false Gospels, Is Not Of God. Please read this verse and let it sin into your heart, When you think you can add something to the work of Christ for Salvation to get to heaven you are on the wrong road. Jesus said, Matthew 7:22-23 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Jesus meant what He said. He did not give His life and blood for nothing, but for YOU. WHAT HAS JESUS BEEN REPLACED WITH, THINK ABOUT THAT.
This is your decision; it is so eternally serious because the consequences will also be eternal. If you have never been saved by the grace of God, I ask, will you, turn from yourself and turn to God? Will you bow your heart, (ASK GOD) right now, and ask God to save you and come live in your life? Will you, put your faith and trust in Jesus for forgiveness and Salvation? Place your faith and trust in Jesus. NOTHING ELSE. I John 1:12 “12 But as many as received him, to them HE gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you have prayed, and received Jesus Christ as you personal Lord and Savior, then please let me know in the comment section below, so that I can rejoice with you.
