This article is called Hollywood and the Dream. For the majority of people, great wealth comes with fame, popularity, a sense of “Power” or superiority. With too many, great self-worth and inflated ego along with pride develop.  They love the spotlight, attention, and adoration of all their fans. I laugh when I hear these terms: Hollywood Elite, Star Power, Power Couples, King or Queen of Hollywood, A living Legend.

So, what makes all of these people famous? Just look at all the sports stars who are making millions of dollars, just to “chunk a ball: in a round hoop or throw a baseball. They are stars making millions, getting endorsements, and doing commercials, or endorsing their own brand of sportswear. My My, doesn’t it just give you chill bumps thinking about it? It must be an earth-shattering event if you get your picture on a box of “Wheaties Cereal.” Just ask Bruce Jenner, I mean Caitlyn, or Bruce or Caitlyn. Well one of them did.  But what happens to them when they fall? I will use 1 example.

SHARON STONE

Sharon Stone, a beautiful lady, Hollywood star, had all the star power and millions of dollars and millions of fans. She starred in many many, moves and was Hollywood’s leading ladies. She was at the height of her career until she was hit by a “STROKE.” I have read 2 articles about what happened to her. Her life came to a screeching halt. Even with a net worth of 60 Million Dollars. Sharon only had a 5% chance of survival. She recovered at home and was disabled. Unable to speak for a while, walk, stand, or even turn over. This was a sad situation, and it took a long time in physical therapy and rehabilitation to recover. This took years.

The said part of one interview was this. Suddenly she had no friends, no visitors, no phone calls, not even from Hollywood. She was deserted by Hollywood and all whom she thought were her friends. Being rich and famous brought her no comfort. Deep depression set in and she had to re-evaluate her whole life. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 27:1  “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Sharon discovered this truth in one day, it took years for her to recover. Sharon stated that she was treated BRUTALLY by those she thought were friends.

ReligionWiki says, In the early 1990s, “Stone became a member of the Church of Scientology. Stone remained with the religion until recently when she converted to Vajrayana Buddhism after fellow actor Richard Gere introduced her to the 14th Dalai Lama.” I really wonder if she thinks joining all religions will cover all the bases for eternity. I will say more about her later in this article.

Then take actor Robert Culp who died in March of 2010 at the age of 79. He was so self-important that in his will he had to be driven down Hollywood and Vine, one last time, on his way to the cemetery-NO JOKE. Was this “Earth Shattering News?” Now you have a different generation who says, “ELVIS, ELVIS WHO?” Some are already saying, “Michael Who?” But these so-called STARS are known for their acting, movies, money and how many times they have been married.

HOLLYWOOD ELITES AND THE MEDIA

Oh, how the lowly humans love their starts. It is the media’s job to keep the world informed about every activity of the stars. There are programs designed to do just that. I used to laugh years ago at the program called, “LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS.” Just imagine we poor commoners, were so privileged just to get a glimpse of real star power and success.  The super ELITES were put on a pedestal where they could be worshipped.

I personally never understood the concept of how some unknown person got a bit part in some movie, then instantly became a “STAR” worthy of everyone’s worship and praise forever. It is the duty of the rest of us humanoids to grobble around their feet and beg for some worthless autograph.  I also find it obnoxious when these self-centered and self-important ego maniacs, feel they have the right to instruct everyone else how to live or who to vote for. I guess that must be another aspect of “star power.” 

HOLLYWOOD

Sharon Stone Says Sexually Explicit Role In ‘Basic Instinct’ Caused Custody Loss of her Son. I will ask, “Was it worth it?” This followed Stone’s divorce from Phil Bronstein after six years of marriage. The actress recalled being heartbroken that the judge ruled in favor of Bronstein because of her role in the movie. However, the 64-year-old described the film as one of its kind. Here is a quote from Sharon about Hollywood. “In this business there is Plan A, in which you become successful by living and acting with a lot of integrity. Then there’s Plan B, where you sell your soul to the Devil. I still find it hard to distinguish one from the other.” Sharon had been put in Hollywood’s “Movie Jail”, for 8 years for slapping a producer. Her stroke occurred in September 2001.  Sharon Stone stated that she and Princess Diana had something in common. She said, they had both been “FORGOTTEN.”

What is Hollywood truly like. From what I know Christianity is not welcome but all Political Correctness is. Actor John Cusack said: ‘Hollywood is a whorehouse and people go mad’. APRIL 10, 2021 Brad Pitt, Robert Downey, Jr. & Mel Gibson Claim Hollywood is an ‘Institutionalized Pedophile Ring’.  I think these guys would know better than me.  CLICK THE BLUE LINK TO SEE.

CONCLUSION

I mentioned earlier in this article how Sharon Stone had a major stroke which almost killed her. I truly hate that for her. It took 7 years to recover. In reading how she struggled just to move or speak, never knowing is she would ever be able to sit up by herself would be devastating for anyone. But you are a great Hollywood Top “STAR.” And you are deserted by those who claim to love you and adore you, even your fans. How quickly Hollyweird, dumped her and turned their back on her. My goal and purposes in this article are NOT to bash or slander Sharon Stone. I want to try and present what happened and the facts. She is human just like the rest of us. I SEE THIS AS A TRAGEDY that can happen to anyone of us. I think the real question is where we turn, or who do we turn too, when the tragedy happens.  Proverbs 27:1 “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth”

The glitz and the glamour faded, along with her fortune. It was not Richard Gere, the 14th Dalai Lama or Buddha who gave her back her life. It was not Hollywood or millions of adoring fans either.  It was the God, the Creator of heaven and earth, yet she remains a Buddhist. I think her faith and trust is in the wrong “ROCK.” What happens when you feel that you have no self-worth? How do you deal with that? It is good to see that Sharon has shifted careers. Now here is the most important part of this article and here is the most important question. Mark 8:36-37 “For what shall it profit a man (or woman), if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man (or woman) give in exchange for their soul? This is the question that must be asked of every human on earth. Death is going to come to every human. Hebrews 9:27 “Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” We will all DIE, WE JUST DO NOT KNOW WHEN. Are you aware that ANY Religion will kill you eternally? Are you aware that the Lord Jesus Christ of Christianity will Save you eternally? 

Someone is asking right now how and why is that? Because ONLY Jesus Christ, the true God of the Bible, suffered and died for you and your sins, on a cross to PAY the penalty of OUR sins. Christianity is not a Religion. it is a personal relationship with the God of the Bible. THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. Religions are man-made and do not come from God. Religions DO NOT deal with the “SIN ISSUE” that has separated us from God. That is the main difference between Religions and the Salvation by the Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah 59:2 “² But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

If you are not a Christian and have not received God’s forgiveness and Salvation, I would not wait one more minute to become God’s child and have my relationship and fellowship restored with Him. I would be so glad to have my sins forgiven and cleansed. Are you willing to place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, the one who gave his life and blood to pay for Salvation and your forgiveness?  THIS IS REALITY NOT SOME HOLLYWOOD MOVIE, DREAM, OR FANTASY. MAKING IT BIG IN HOLLYWOOD, IS NOT THE PINNACLE OF SUCCESS. GETTING TO HEAVEN IS.

Realize that Jesus took your place as your substitute and paid for ALL OF YOUR SINS. Bow your HEART and ask God for forgiveness and salvation, and God will instantly SAVE YOU AND CHANGE YOU INSIDE. Romans 10:13 “¹³ For whosoever shall call (ASK) upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” It is all yours for the asking. It is Gods free GIFT to you, but it cost Jesus everything for you.
