This article is called, how many times does God say “WOE?” Is that important? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT. And I promise you on the authority of God’s Word you will find out in person when you stand before Him in judgment. Whether good or bad, whether right or wrong. You may not know this, but I really need to tell you. “YOU ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT SET TO MEET GOD AND YOU WILL KEEP THAT APPOINTMENT AND HERE IS WHY. Hebrews 9:27 “27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. At this appointment you will find out your eternal home and destination, forever. And this is all going to be your choice.
HOW MANY TIMES DOES GOD SAY WOE?
God said “WOE” 116 times in the Bible. Woeis tied to sin and rebellion against God. God used woe all through the Old Testament and New Testament. Jesus used the woe of warning. Jesus used the word woe 7 times in one chapter 23 of Matthew. But that is surely not all the woe’s of the New Testament.
20 “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight! 22 Woe to men mighty at drinking wine, Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink, 23 Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away justice from the righteous man! 24 Therefore, as the [l]fire devours the stubble, And the flame consumes the chaff,
So their root will be as rottenness, And their blossom will ascend like dust; Because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. 25 Therefore the anger of the Lord is aroused against His people; He has stretched out His hand against them And stricken them, And the hills trembled. Their carcasses were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this His anger is not turned away, But His hand is stretched out still.” Dear Reader, any time in Gods Word where He says “WOE” YOU BETTER PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION.
IT DOES NOT FEEL WRONG
It Does Not Feel Wrong.” So, someone is asking, “What is it that does not feel wrong?” The simple answer is “SIN.” Why? Because sin is natural to us and we humans sin everyday. According to God’s Word, we were all shapen in sin and were born sinners. Psalm 51:5 “Behold, I was Romans 6:23 ” shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”We inherited sin from our parents and they inherited sin from their parents all the way back to our original parents, Adam and Ever. Dear Reader, It is easier to sin than to serve God. Hebrews 11:25 says. “There is pleasure in sin for a season.” This is exactly where our world is today and what is pushed world wide.
Sin is part of your own sinful human nature. You never have to teach someone how to be bad, it comes naturally. Just try to teach them to be good and do what is right, that is a life long battle. You cannot play the “good sinner bad sinner game with God.” Lets test this and see. Go look in the mirror and tell me the person you see is perfect. That person has never done anything wrong. said anything wrong, or thought anything wrong? You know better and we all know better. In God’s eyes, there are no good sinners. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”This is why every human dies. SIN IS A KILLER.
What did Isaiah the prophet of God say when saw God’s glory. Isaiah 6:5 “Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” Dear Reader, go look in the mirror again.
Dear Reader, when is the last time you slowly drove past a bad mangled car wreck and said to yourself, “WOE?” You have a built in “WARNING SYSTEM IN YOU AND GOD PUT IT THERE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.” Why do you think you have a conscience from God?
THE 3 WOE’S IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Dear Reader, we Christians, Gods Church are very close to the Rapture of the church and that is our going on to heaven. We get to leave this sin cursed world and enjoy eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Then the 7 year Tribulation starts here on earth and Satan himself will take over this world to set up his own kingdom. He will deceive the whole world and dominate the whole world. Maybe you have heard about the man if sin, the Antichrist that will be demon possessed by Satan himself. The tribulation will be the worst time on earth humans have ever seen or dreamed of. Over 50% of all humans on earth will die during the 7 year Tribulation.
This will also be a time on earth when God Himself will pour out all of His judgements and pure wrath on this world and destroy the kingdom that Satan sets up to rule. God will pour out 21 judgements that is going to totally destroy this world. The book of Revleation has detailed all of it. This will truly be a time of hell on earth. Along with all the judgements there will be “3 FINAL WOE’S” poured upon this earth. These woe’s bring not just death but grief, anguish, and aflication for everyone. As got questions ,com states:
Woe number 1. The first woe happens when the 5th trumpet sounds. The Abyss will be opened. And the earth will have a demonic overlord (Revelation 9:3, 7-8, 11). These creatures, these demonic locusts are allowed to torment unbelievers for five months ALL THE TIME. (Revelation 9:5) with painful stingers and stings. Victims will beg and long for death (Revelation 9: 6), they will not be granted death.
Woe number 2. The second woe, comes right after the 6th Trumpet judgment. Revelation 9:14 The 4 demons who have been chained under the great river Euphrates, will be loosed on this earth. These demons and their armies of 200 million, are released, and one third of every person on earth will die. Revelation 9:15; Jude 16.
Woe number 3. The third woe, comes after the 7th Trumpet judgment. This is the 7 bowls and judgements of God’s wrath (undiluted) poured out full strength on Satan, Sin and the entire world. God is going to level this planet once and for all. This is the greatest HORROR anyone could ever imagine. Matthew 24:22 says that if God did not shorten the days no one on earth would ever survive. WE CHRISTIANS WILL BE WATCHING SAFELY IN HEAVEN. Now this is your future. This is not some hollywood movie this is a very soon coming REALITY.
CONCLUSION
WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU WERE MOVED BY A WARNING FROM GOD? When is the last time God looked at your life and said, “WOE?” When is the last time you looked in the mirror and had to say, “WOE” to the person you see in the mirror? It is called “Self Examination. II Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” See, this really is personal and it will have eternal consequences. Are you smart enough to hear and see God’s warnings in your life? Or do you even care? Will you be here on earth and suffer all of the torment coming to every person on earth and die?
Please listen to what I say right now, because it might save your very soul for eternity. Anywhere you go on this planet there are warning signs showing you danger. Each country has them. There are signs everywhere for you to see. That is part of our lives. God has given us plenty of warning signs, including you own free will and your conscience. We have, The Bible, They Holy Spirit, the sacrifice of Jesus and the consequences for Sin. Please listen now. SATAN HAS NO WARNINGS OR WARNING SIGNS AT ALL,” HE ONLY HAS SIN, LIES AND DECEPTION.”THAT ALONE SHOULD BE AN ETERNAL WARNING SIGN TO YOU.
Are you going to literally become Satan’s property and give him owner ship of you forever? (Mark of the beast). Finally, and most important is this, YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR A FACT THAT JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR OWN PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR, RIGHT NOW.God is real and so is Satan. Heaven is real and so is hell. Sin has always separated us from God because of who God is. He cannot and will never accept sin but He will forgive it, because Jesus paid for sin for us.
Jesus came to earth and died a cruel death on the cross to pay for our sins and satisfy God’s judgment. II Corinthians 5:21 “For He (GOD) hath made Him (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that WE might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection were for us, and gives us eternal Salvation.
It is free to us, but it cost Jesus His very life to pay for our sins. Will you bow your heart and turn from yourself and turn to God? Will you ask for forgiveness of sin and salvation, and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? I assure you on the word of God that He will save you and give you a new life in Christ. Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Bow your heart and ask God. This is one prayer God will ALWAYS answer. Let Jesus touch your life, save you and make you whole.
