This article is called, Living on borrowed time. So where have we failed? Let’s take a close look at our lives. We will instantly have regrets and think of the areas in that we failed and all the time we have wasted. We are all humans and make mistakes every day. I want to list something here that maybe you have never thought about. Feel free to check out my numbers here so here it is. So often I hear people say, “I am covered up, there is not enough time to do what I need to do, I JUST DON’T HAVE TIME.” Or there is not enough time in a day to do everything I have to do.”
We live minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, week by week, and year by year. That must be a lot of minutes. Here are a few facts. If you live for 1 year, then you have had 525,600 minutes to live. If you live for 5 years, you have had 2,628,000 minutes to live. 5 years is over 2 !/2 million minutes. WOW. Check for yourself. So, what have done in all of these minutes? Most will say, it was work, family, sleep, and other things. Take your age and multiply it by 525,600 and see how many minutes you have lived, then you can be depressed, or blessed.
We are talking about “TIME” and over the years many songs have been written about time. You can probably name some of them. The one I am thinking about is an old song by the Rolling Stones called, “Time is on my side.” Is time on your side? In reality, the answer to that question is a definite NO. We are limited to time and space. We are not guaranteed in this life, the very next minute. Yet people act like they have all the time in the world and that they are going to live here on earth forever.
TIME CLICHE’S
I am sure someone is thinking, “what is a cliche?’ Here is a definition. “A cliché is a phrase that, due to overuse, is seen as lacking in substance or originality. For example, telling a heartbroken friend that there are “Plenty of fish in the sea” is such a cliché that it would probably not be all that comforting for them to hear, even though the saying is meant to be a reassurance.” The problem I see with cliches is that normally, it is a person’s personal opinion, whether it is true or false. I also think that at some point in our life we have all used them. Here are a few cliches from “your dictionary .com” Only time will tell. In the nick of time. Lost track of time. Lasted an eternity, just a matter of time. A waste of time. Time flies. The time of my life. I do have to say right here that LIFE IS NOT A CLICHE, IT IS A REALITY.
Save the cliche for your gravestone. Only the body dies, your soul and spirit are eternal and will live on. But where will it live on? Here is reality, you may look good in your casket, but your body is going to rot in the ground or vault. Maybe you are not aware that you are worm food. The Bible says, Hebrews 9:27 ” And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Are you ready for that time? God’s judgment is not a cliche, but a reality that we ALL must face. And God’s judgment is eternal. Dear Reader, that judgment may be just minutes away. Here is a cliche for you, “THE CLOCK IS TICKING.”
GOD AND TIME- HOW MANY MINUTES DO YOU GIVE HIM
You cannot have a real discussion about Time without including God. Understand God created time and space for us humans. We are bound by and live in time and space, God is not. God lives outside of time and space. He is not bound by it. God operates outside of time and inside of time. God lives in “ETERNITY.” Someone will ask, “How long is eternity or how long is forever?” Eternity and forever cannot be measured by time, and here is why. “ETERNITY AND FOREVER ARE THE ABSENCE OF TIME.” Again, time was created for us humans. I have to throw this one in also. We talk about light and dark; we see it every day that we live. We live in the daytime and nighttime.
In reality “darkness is the absence of light, just as eternity is the absence of time.” You will find this in the Bible in Revelation 10:6 where “GOD DECLARES THAT TIME SHALL BE NO MORE.” You CANNOT calculate eternity and forever by TIME because time will no longer exist. Here is a true and sad fact. Heaven and Hell are both ETERNAL.
I asked in this heading, “How much time and how many minutes do you give God? Or are you too busy, with your life to honor the one who gave you your life? What are your priorities in this life? Do you think you will live forever on earth and in this life? Or do you think you will not die? WE ARE ALL LIVING ON BORROWED TIME. And none of us knows how much time we have here on earth or until death. As the bible says, Proverbs 27:1 ““Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”
Death is certain and sure for us humans. Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” Your human life is temporary, but your EXISTENCE is eternal. Your human body will die but your existence will NEVER die. Your existence lives inside your human body. Your existence is your eternal soul and spirit given by God.
CONCLUSION
I am always amazed and laugh each time I see a NEW SCIENTIFIC THEORY regarding time. So many of these guesses contradict each other. They are pure speculation. They come from highly educated idiots. I chose to believe the ONE, who created time and manages it. Here is one such example: “The beginning of Time. Although scientists know that the universe began with the Big Bang approximately 15 billion years ago, they have no estimation for when the universe will end.” I chose Genesis 1:1 “IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED.” Scientist wants you to believe that the Universe FARTED AND BANG, EVERYTHING EVOLVED AND CAME INTO EXISTENCE. I am still trying to figure out when God created DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME AND TIME ZONES. HUMMMMM
We have an order in the universe, and that demands an Orderer. Creation demands a Creator. I have a watch that just evolved over the centuries. No, the watch had a Maker and so does creation. Time, space, and matter came into existence ALL AT THE SAME TIME AND HAD TO BE CREATED BY GOD. The short video may be the most important video that you will ever see about “WHERE DID GOD COME FROM.”
Friends, we are living on borrowed time. Just look at the destruction of our society, country, and the world. God told us exactly what would happen in His word. This is a very dangerous world that we live in. Globalists are determined to have a 1 world government, 1 world money system, and 1 world religion, just as the Bible says. This will all be handed over to the anti-christ, the entire system. This is guaranteed. We are very close to the 7-year TRIBULATION that will come upon the whole earth. This will be a time of total HELL on earth like no one has ever imagined.
We know the RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH COMES FIRST. I believe it will be very, very, soon. All of God’s children (CHRISTIANS) will be taken to heaven before this event of the Tribulation. TIME IS VERY SHORT AND WE ALL ARE LIVING ON BORROWED TIME. And there is no time to wait or put off concerning Jesus Christ, who died and paid for our sins so that we can have salvation, and become the children of God.
Hey Christians, Give me a MINUTE PLEASE, AND LISTEN. There are 1400 minutes in a day. There are 10,080 minutes in a week. There are 43,800 minutes in a month. There are 525,600 minutes in a year. And there are 2,628,000 minutes in 5 years. HOW MANY MINUTES OF YOUR TIME, ARE YOU GIVING TO GOD? DID YOU SPEND 37.5 HOURS THIS WEEK, WATCHING TELEVISION OR ENTERTAINMENT, BUT ONLY GAVE GOD 1 MINUTE? OR WILL YOU TELL GOD THAT YOU ARE TOO BUSY?? GOD ALREADY KNOWS, BUT DO YOU?
People do what they want to do. People do what is “IMPORTANT” to them. Some people make a “god” out of their work, job, success, another person, or, things, or money. Yet when troubles or hard times come, they will run to God. You see “What you feed LEADS.” Their attitude in life is, “Hey Lord, I got this, I am taking care of it, so you don’t have to. If “I” need your help, I will holler at you.” Now someone is saying, “wait, wait, wait a minute. I have obligations and responsibilities. I have a family, a job, I have to work and make a living and that takes TIME.” I would agree with you. So here is the real question, about your priorities, “WHERE DO YOU SPEND YOUR FREE TIME?”
TO THE UNSAVED PEOPLE. Look we ALL have screwed up, made mistakes, and sinned-ALL HUMANS. That is known asSIN. God is totally HOLY and cannot accept sin. Sin makes all of us SINNERS. Sin has to be paid for. Jesus came to earth and gave his life and died on the cross-TO PAY FOR OUR SINS. HE DID THIS FOR US AND WAS OUR SUBSTITUTE. Jesus did this so that WE could be restored and have a relationship with God the Father. If you understand and believe this, then it is yours for the asking. It is God’s free gift of eternal life to you. Simply bow your heart and ask God to save you and give you salvation and eternal life because Jesus paid for it all. God will instantly save you, and make you, His child. I would not wait or put it off, The Lord is coming soon for His children and right now WE ARE ON BORROWED TIME. JOHN 3:16
