This article is called, Revenge is a confession of your hurt and  pain Part 1. I think this statement alone should make every human look at themselves. I want to write this article because I believe we humans often have a misunderstanding

when we come to the subject of God. Too many people try to develop a concept and come away thinking that God is too big for us to understand. So we settle for what little bit we can grasp but we still lack so much. I submit that we “SHOULD” already understand a lot more about God,, our Creator, and too often miss who He is.

In this article I will also list many of the attributes about God, (what is God like).  I have previously listed these in an article which I wrote in August 2015. I hope this article will accomplish just a few things. At the end I hope you will have a better understanding of who God is, and  what God is like. Then look at yourself with a better understanding of both God and yourself. God has revealed Himself to us, His will and His way in His book called the Bible.

HUMANS ARE PHYSICALLY MENTALLY EMOTIONALLY SOCIALLY AND SPIRITUAL CREATURES. 

Now that is a real mouthful, but that is what we humans are. Let me tell you right off the bat, this is how God created us. Our problem is that we humans often think of God in the Abstract, rather then His Reality. Dear Reader, there is a big DIFFERENCE in knowing about somebody and knowing them personally. This is very true with God, more than anyone else. The difference is between HEAVEN AND HELL. So we absolutely must assume that God knows all about these characteristics. Maybe my next statement will open your mind. How does God know this. BECAUSE GOD IS LIKE US. Yes, I understand the Bible says, “God is a Spirit and they worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.” Let me prove this too you. Genesis 1.27 “So God created man in HIS own image (LIKENESS), in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Here is another one for you. No where in the Bible does it state that God created Angels, nor any other species, in His own image or likeness. WOW, YOU ARE SPECIAL. Before I forget I will explain the “HUMAN” part of God later in this article.

SO WHAT IS GOD LIKE-HIS ATTRIBUTES

I want to talk about God’s attributes or in plain language, God’s very nature. This is who God is and what God is like.

1. God is Perfect. God is perfectly PERFECT. There are no flaws with God. Because God is perfect, He DEMANDS perfection. God cannot ACCEPT anything less than perfection. Are you perfect?

2. God is Holy. God is perfectly Holy all the time. Because God is Holy He CANNOT ACCEPT or look upon sin. (Habakkuk 1:13).

3. God is Just, God is Righteous. God does what is just and right all the time, we do not. God does not sin, we do. Gods Perfection and Holiness demands Justice and Punishment of anything that is not just and right. Only God is totally Righteous. We are sinners because we do not do what is good or right all the time. God cannot ACCEPT anything less.

4. God is Immutable. This means that God is UNCHANGING. We may change in many ways but God does NOT change and never has. It means God’s mind and opinion have never changed. What God has said, He meant and still does, regardless of what Modern Society thinks or says.

5. God is Omniscient. This means God knows everything and His knowledge is complete. God knows everything, He knows the end from the beginning and He alone knows the total future of mankind.

6. God is Omnipotent. This means God is all Powerful. There is no limit to His power. Only God can limit His own power if He chooses to. God has the power to create or destroy at any time. Only God is Self-Sufficient, we are not. We depend on God and all that He has created for us to survive.

7. God is Omnipresent. This means that God has the ability to be present at all places at all times. God can be in heaven, here on earth or all through the universe at the same time.

8. God is Sovereign. This means God is in total CONTROL all the time. This is how God rules His creation. God has also given us free will with the ability to obey or reject His leading. This is God’s Authority and gives Him the right to do whatever He chooses.

9. God is Merciful. This means God has mercy on us and does not give us what we deserve. God offers Salvation and all that goes with it when we deserve Hell and punishment for sin.

10. God is Love. God’s love takes in his mercy, grace, and loving-kindness to us. It allows God to have a personal relationship with His mankind and creation.

Maybe you have never seen or understood God in this way. This is God’s nature and how He is. What you really need to understand is this. ALL of these attributes are TRUE AND EQUAL. God’s love is equal to his perfection, holiness, justice, righteousness, and wrath. God does not love more than He hates. God’s love for sinners is equal to his hatred for sin. We humans cannot say this about ourselves.

IS GOD EMOTIONAL AND HAVE FEELINGS

The answer to that questions is “ABSOLUTELY YES.” God is an emotional being, who feels and responds with emotions. God expresses emotions of many different  kinds, and His response is not always like ours. The Bible often speaks of God in human terms, but this is to help us understand Him in ways familiar to us. God’s emotions are never tainted by sin. Our sinful nature leads us to rash and extremes expressions of emotion. God’s emotions can NEVER lead to sin. Humans emotions will allow emotions to cloud our judgment and to affect our actions,  in many sinful ways. Look at  human anger versus divine anger. Human anger is usually self-centered, EXPLOSIVE, and often out of control. God’s anger is rooted in his PERFECT JUSTICE. It is always RIGHTEOUS, and never malicious. Since God’s emotions are rooted in his Holy Nature, God’s compassion, sorrow, joy, love, and anger are all perfect expressions of his Perfect Deity.

Here are some of Gods emotions the Bible tells us about: Anger – Psalm 7:11; Deuteronomy 9:22; Romans 1:18
Compassion – Psalm 135:14; Judges 2:18; Deuteronomy 32:36
Grief – Genesis 6:6; Psalm 78:40
Love – 1 John 4:8; John 3:16; Jeremiah 31:3
Hate – Proverbs 6:16; Psalm 5:5; Psalm 11:5

Jealousy – Exodus 20:5; Exodus 34:14; Joshua 24:19
Joy – Zephaniah 3:17; Isaiah 62:5; Jeremiah 32:41

And God has many more emotions throughout the Old and New Testaments. God is a feeling Person, one who loves and hates, grieves and laughs, feels anger and compassion. He loves the righteous and hates the wicked (Psalm 11:5–7; 5:4–5; 21:8).The Book of Revelation is full of Gods Anger and Wrath as His 21 Judgements are poured out on this sinful human world, during the Tribulation under Satan’s control.

AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US

I stated earlier that God is like us, or we are like God. . So, how is God the physical human part? Jesus is God and was born into a human body of flesh, without sin. Can you read the New Testament and not see the feelings and emotions that He had? The Bible says, Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” Jesus knew our fears, temptations, sins. He experienced every temptation that we will ever face. Jesus had more emotions and feeling than any human every has, but He was in a human body of flesh. Yet Jesus was obedient to the Father. Jesus suffered torture, emotional pain and physical agony, on the cross so we would never have too. Jesus paid the price for our sin (eternal death in hell) to reconcile us to God. NEVER FORGET THAT JESUS WAS TEMPTED BY SATAN, HIMSLEF, FOR 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS IN THE DESERT I PERSONALLY BELIEVE JESUS FACED EVERY FEELING AND EMOTION, THAT ANY HUMAN CAN FACE. OH WHAT A SAVIOR.

Feelings and emotions are a large part of God’s Divine Nature-WHO HE IS. The Holy Sprit of God lives in us also. What is the fruit of the Spirit that He, the Holy Spirit produces in us? Galatians 5:22-23 “ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,²³ Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. I also see feelings and emotions expressed here. Ephesians 4:30 tells us, “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” The Holy Spirit of God lives in us and we do grieve Him, we cause Him pain. I often wonder how painful it must be for the Holy Spirit to be ignored, while He knows and see’s how sinful we still are. How grieved He must feel, when we Christians let the flesh lead us and not Him. I actually apologize to Him for my weakness and causing Him pain. MAYBE YOU SHOULD ALSO. 

VENGEANCE IS MINE I WILL REPAY SAITH THE LORD

Romans 12:9 “ Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Only God can say that because of His Holiness and Justice. God is the pure Authority of Revenge and Justice. We human in a body of flesh, have many feelings and emotions. Some of these feelings and emotions are good and some are bad. Many of our “ACTIONS” come from our  feeling and emotions, and “HAS CONSEQUENCES.”  God said it this way for US to understand: Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

1 John 2:16 : For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 ¹⁷ And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” I will tie Galatians 6:7 and I John 2:16&17 together. GOD SAYS VENGEANCE IS MINE (NOT YOURS) GOD SAID I WILL REPAY. God says “DO NOT BE DECEIVED, YOU CANNOT MOCK GOD, WHATSOEVER ANY PERSONS SOWS THAT IS WHAT THEY WILL REAP. I John 2:17 tells us WHAT ALL IS IN THE WORLD, AND THAT IT IS NOT OF THE FATHER.

“GOD DOES NOT NEED ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES, WE DO. GOD DOES NOT DO THINGS THAT HE WILL REGRET, WE DO.  GOD DOES NOT HAVE MOOD SWINGS, WE DO. GOD DOES NOT FORGET WHAT HE PROMISED, WE DO. GOD CANNOT LIE, WE DO. GOD NEVER FORGETS, WE DO. GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL, WE ARE NOT.

Here is what I see over and over again, HERE IS HOW CHRISTIANS CUT OFF THEIR BLESSING FROM GOD–BELIEVE THIS. Satan works on our flesh and works on our minds, feelings and emotions. Christians can be DEEPLY HURT AND WOUNDED, even by close friends and family. Hurt, anger, fear, and wrath (PAYBACK), fill their minds, will and emotions. Satan is a master manipulator and works on the flesh. Satan is ALWAYS READY to help you get the payback that you want. I have heard Christians say, “I NEVER THOUGHT HE OR SHE WOULD DO THAT TO ME, I TRUSTED THEM. I WAS GOOD TO THEM, I SHARED EVERYTHING I HAD WITH THEM, AND THEY TOOK EVERYTHING I HAD. THEY RUINED ME AND MY LIFE. Totally Devested. The shock, hurt and pain is almost unbearable.

Christians will tell you, the Bible is correct and they believe “you reap what you sow,” and they know that God will do it. But many Christians want to “SEE IT.” They want to see it happen now, so they can watch, they want to see the person cry and feel the pain and anguish they felt. They want to watch as the person pays for it. TIT FOR TAT. They want to see PAYBACK AND VENGEANCE NOW. In reality, they want to help God exact the revenge. Others feel it is their duty to get even. I will finally have my payback. This is what will finally make me “FEEL BETTER.” I want to have that satisfaction of knowing they did not get away with it. And I want them feel more PAIN, than I did.

A man once said, “This was done to me not God. I think he forgot that ALL SIN, is against God. I have written specifically for the Christians but this principle holds true for the lost and the saved. Everyone will reap what they sow. Too many in the world say, “I DON’T GET MAD, I GET EVEN. There really are only 2 ways to deal with Revenge and Pain. Either your way, or Gods way. And I can promise you on the Authority of God’s Person and His Word, He does not need our help. Did you ever actually think, that God know when and where to exact His judgement or Vengeance? Did you ever actually think, that God maybe allowing time for the offender to repent and make things right with you.

              REVENGE IS A CONFESSION OF YOUR HURT AND  PAIN

Satan is always willing to use your flesh AND YOUR PAIN, for his purpose and destruction. Satan will keep throwing this offense, in your face, every day of your life, if you let him. Satan not only wants you to digest it again but he wants you to feel this offense and pain again. I think Christians forget when they decide to get their own payback, they will also reap what they are sowing from God. FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS RUN DEEP IN EVERY PERSON. Do not let your own feelings and emotions cut off God’s blessings in you life and bring Judgement back on  you. GOD WILL PERFORM HIS OWN VENGEANCE AND PAYBACK IN HIS OWN TIME. IT IS GUARANTEED.

CONCLUSION

In Realty God feels and has emotions just as we have. Gods feelings and emotions operate in a different way then our feelings and emotions. God gave us feelings and emotions so that we can identify with Him. As I stated previously, God’s feelings and emotions do not lead Him to sin. Ours easily can. God’s Holy anger and WRATH are rooted in His Perfect Justice and Righteousness. God is Divine, we humans are not. Yet by Gods mercy and grace, He gave us our feelings and emotions. We have that connection with God.

Mankind today has adapted his own immoral, emotional, reality, (satanic) and so called standard “IF IT FEELS GOOD DO IT. I CAN DO ANYTHING I CHOOSE TO, OR BE ANTHING I CHOOSE TO BE. I AM MY OWN god.” Hurt me, or give me grief, and I will get even with you,  because their Revenge or payback, is a confession of their pain, AND THIS HOLDS TRUE FOR CHRISTIANS AND LOST PEOPLE. The unsaved people of the world says it this way, what goes around comes around.

Dear Reader, We live in one screwed up world. We are all humans who make mistakes and do wrong things, We know that. God calls that SIN. Our sins have separated us from God. God is Holy and cannot accept sin. God ,made a way for us to be accepted when He sent Jesus to come to earth and pay for everyone’s sins, by giving his body and blood on the cross in our place. Jesus resurrection from the dead meant that God accepted his sacrifice for ALL sin forever. God offers Salvation to EVERYONE who will believe and accept this fact. If you are not a Christian then simply bow you head and ask God to save you and forgive your sins because Jesus paid for them. I promise you that God will save you forever, and give you a home in heaven. Please do not put this off, The Lord is coming soon for His children. John 3:16
