This article is called, “The New Apostolic Reformation.” So, what does that mean? What kind of Reformation? What needed to be Reformed? Do they not already have the charismatic movement and Pentecostalism? Yes, but they proclaimed they needed more and the best. Simply put if the Apostles did it, we can do it and more. Unfortunately, they claim more power and authority than Jesus’ Apostles had.
The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) is a movement which seeks to establish a fifthbranch, within Christendom distinct from Catholicism, Protestantism (which includes classical forms of Pentecostalism, the Charismatic movement, and Evangelicalism), Oriental Orthodoxy, and Eastern Orthodoxy. The movement largely consists of churches nominally or formerly associated with Pentecostal denominations and Charismatic movements but have diverged from traditional or classical Pentecostal and Charismatic theology in that it advocates for the restoration of church governance by the lost offices of prophet and apostle, which they believe were lost in the first centuries of Christianity in favor of pastors, elders, and administrators. It is based on Ephesians 4:11-12. How can they build a new foundation when Christ is the foundation and cornerstone?

Forrest Wilder, senior editor for theTexas Observer, describes the New Apostolic Reformation as having “taken Pentecostalism, with its emphasis on ecstatic worship and the supernatural, and given it an adrenaline shot.”[5] Wilder adds that beliefs of people associated with the movement “can tend toward the bizarre” and that it has “taken biblical literalism to an extreme.”
National Public Radio brought the discussion about the political influence of the NAR to a national audience with a 2011 article. Lou Engle and Don Finto, who are considered to be leaders within the NAR, participated in a prayer event called “The Response” hosted by Texan governor Rick Perry, on August 6, 2011, in Houston, Texas. This event is cited as a sign of the influence of NAR beliefs on Rick Perry’s political viewpoints.[5][28]
The Passion Translationhas been identified by researchers of the NAR movement as containing “completely reworded verses, making it appear that the Bible supports NAR teachings.”[29]

CONCLUSION
“FOR OR AGAINST? That is going to be the big question that must be answered in Christianity. My problem has always been the unbiblical doctrine of the Charismatic Movement and Pentecostal Denominations. I see within these movements a false form of Salvation, yet they credit it to the doctrine of the Apostles. Here are a few questions that I have regarding “THE NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION.” This movement is all about power and authority. What about succession? “WHEN WILL THEY NAME THEIR NEW POPE OF THE NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION?” Christianity already has enough problems with the current “POPE.”
Before there were Jesus Apostles those men were Jesus Disciples who walked, talked and lived with Jesus. Yes, Jesus was training them for ministry and the furtherance of the gospel. Yes, they would become Apostles and carry on the work of Christ and evangelize the world. The disciples had a lot to learn and a lot of growing up to do. Luke 9:46-47, Mark 9:33-34, and Matthew 18:1 all record an incident that happened more than once. In other words, the disciples had an ongoing argument. Their argument was this: “WHICH ONE OF THEM WOULD BE THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN?” Jesus already knew what they were thinking in their hearts.
I believe the disciples had a “PRIDE AND CONCEIT PROBLEM” at that time. Jesus replied, Mark 9:35 “And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.” In simple terms, you want to be the greatest, then you become the slave of all the others.”Here is another incident with the disciples.
Mark 10:35-41 “And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire. 36 And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? 37 They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory. 38 But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?39 And they said unto him, We can.
And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: 40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared. 41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.” To sit on Jesus right hand and left hand in heaven would truly be an “EXALTED POSITION.” The cup and baptism Jesus was talking about was His death, burial and resurrection in the payment for sin. They did not understand.
What they did is a mirror for us, for we easily can do the same thing. Who is the greatest in the kingdom of the church? WOW. In my humble opinion this is where they are in their “NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION.” They proclaim their “EXALTED POSITIONS“ AND MAKE THEMSELVES THE WORLD LEADERS OF ALL BIBLICAL POWER AND AUTHORITY.” THEY SEE THEMSELVES AS EQUAL TO THE APOSTLES WITH GREATER GIFTS THAN THE APOSTLES HAD. I said, the disciples had a “PRIDE AND CONCEIT PROBLEM.” At that time. Just look at the New Apostolic Reformation and you will see it again.
I watch this stuff from this movement all the time and it really breaks my heart. It is painful to see so many descent people being sucked into a “CULT.” I truly hope the people will turn their hearts to Jesus Christ for their forgiveness of sin. That is what will get you from earth to heaven. I want you to see exactly what I have been talking about. I am going to post a very short video of Kenneth Copeland. He stands and says, “STANDING IN THE OFFICE OF THE PROPHET OF GOD. COVID, I BLOW THE WIND OF GOD ON YOU. (THEN HE BLOWS). I COMMAND YOU TO BE GONE. THEN HE YELLS ITS GONE, ITS GONE.” I guess the covid virus did not hear his command and it never went anywhere. You need to see this. This is the new Apostolic Reformation.
Now if you believe this crap, then you have a real problem and you truly need to get saved by the Grace of God.
God sent Jesus to be our substitute and pay the penalty and consequences of every human’s sin. All sin is against God and He will never accept it, but He will forgive it. All the way back in the garden of Eden our original parents Adam and Eve chose to sin. That broke our relationship and fellowship with God. Sin has passed on to every human ever since. Your mother gave you your first sin at birth.
Psalm 51:5 “Behold, Iwasshapenin iniquity; andin sin did my mother conceive me.” WE WERE ALL BORN SINNERS AND THAT IS A FACT. SIN WILL KILL YOU; JESUS WILL GIVE YOU SALVATION AND DELIVERANCE FROM SIN AND ETERNAL DEATH. Romans6:23 “For thewagesofsinisdeath; butthegiftof God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Jesus paid the horrible price for sin and took our place on his cross for our forgiveness of sin, from God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV “For he hath made Him to be sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” THE PRICE OF YOUR AND MY SIN HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID. IT IS YOUR FREE GIFT OF SALVATION, ALL FOR THE ASKING. The real question is this? WILL YOU ACCEPT OR REJECT GODS’ ETERNAL SALVATION?
Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call (ASK) upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” SIN WILL KILL YOU, BUT JESUS WILL SAVE YOU. WE ARE THE SINNERS JESUS IS THE SAVIOR. JESUS CAME TO SAVE SINNERS AND FORGIVE THEM–BOW YOUR HEART RIGHT NOW, TURN FROM YOURSELF AND TURN TO GOD, AND ASK. LET CHRIST BE THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT.
