This article is called, “Wanting Jesus More Than My Sin.” I am sure that someone who just clicked on this article just instantly left. They have no desire to stay or read this. Neither will they accept it. People want many things in their life and they have a passion to get them and own them. But Jesus is not one of those things. How many times have you heard this statement? “I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE” ———— Would they really give anything, are they just blowing smoke? WHAT WILL YOU GIVE YOUR SOUL FOR?
Next, Humans love SIN it motivates them and fulfills their desires. I love my life and I am having a ball. I can do anything I choose to and I have to satisfy me. I love the pleasure I get. Even the Bible says, Hebrews 11:25 “Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. So many says, Hey, I worked for it I earned it. Get out of my life and leave me alone. ITS GOING TO BE MY WAY. It is always humans desire to ACHIEVE AND ACCOMPLISH. It is never enough to satisfy.
What is it in your life that you are hugging on to very tight? What is it that you totally refuse to let go of? What have you made your security blanket? Your wants and desires have come first in your life rather then others. Nothing is different in your life and you have no desire to change anything. What is it that binds you and holds you tightly? What is it that you just cannot let go of it? I want things my way, on my terms. I think you might accept Jesus and Salvation if He would becomes my slave that I can control.
EXCUSES FOR NOT WANTING JESUS AND SALVATION
The number one reason is “THEY LOVE THEIR SIN.” It is an addiction to them from their own human nature. They do not want to change. They do not understand the consequences of sin and do not want to change. They have bought into the worlds beliefs that all good people go to heaven. Many believe they are not good enough. They are not willing for any commitment. They do not see they are Spiritually Blind. The attitude is, I can handle it. No, you cannot. I can do it on my own when I am ready. People love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. They do not want to give up their affections and desires. They do not want a new heart and a new life, sin lives there. Hebrews 4:13. They have the wrong opinion of Jesus and who He really is.
Many fear their sins will be exposed. God already knows them all. Others believe their good deeds will be enough to get them to heaven. Why do people reject God? I have heard many in my lifetime say, “I just can’t live it.” Others have said, I don’t have time for God or Jesus. If that is your excuse then you will have all eternity in hell begging for time with Jesus. I John 2:16 “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” Satan is always willing to party with you and lead you into more wickedness, evil and sin.
WHAT KEEPS PEOPLE AWAY FROM CHRIST
Satan or one of his little demons will always be your party animal buddy. Biblical values, morality, and many say, “I HAVE BEEN BURNED AND HURT BY CHURCHES AND CHRISTIANS.” If they are Christians then I do not want to be one. As got questions says, “The pain caused by a church is a “silent killer.” This doesn’t mean that the words and events that “burned” and hurt your heart are not very ugly and public. It is a “silent killer” because of what it does deep in the fabric of the mind, heart, and soul of the wounded. If not dealt with, it will destroy future happiness, joy, and well-being. 1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
The collateral damage negatively affects the ministry and outreach of the church, too, and some churches never recover. Recognize that the behavior that brought such devastation to your heart is not much different than the hurt any of us can encounter in the workplace, marketplace, or home. The difference is we don’t expect God’s people to behave like those without Christ in their lives. The church is the one place almost everyone agrees should be safe, accepting, forgiving, and free from conflict and pain. Yet in most churches at least some elements of strife, conflict, and hatred creep in and tarnish that ideal.” I have heard more than once, when a person says, If they are Christians, then I do not want to be one.”
Lost people get harmed, offended, or injured quickly. They do not have any Spiritual eyes to guide them. It is hard to identify the real root cause of their pain. And be assured they will be glad to make it known, especially to non-Christians. Don’t blame God and the church for how His children behave. God is the healer of wounds, and Jesus knows, ALL ABOUT BEING WOUNDED. Understand what God told us, and is what peope hang on to. I John 2:16 “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” This is what Churches and Christians must battle, even in their own lives.
THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD
Satan is loving the world that he is pushing. The Bible calls him “the god of this world”. Yes, Satan truly exist and he is the epitomy of sin. He wants you but still he hates you. His deception is ruling the world. He hates you and the God of heaven. His destination is hell and he has already been judged. Satan makes sin and immorality look so good. We live in a very wicked, evil world today. He is the father of all lies. Satan started every false religion on the planet.
CONCLUSION
Dear Reader, Do not reject and refuse His love, salvation, and forgiveness. because we humans still screw up and still sin. Christians are not perfect people, we just have a pergect Savior. Christians are not perfect people, we are just forgiven. One day we will be when we get to heaven. We still live in a sinful flesh body and we still have a sinful human nature. Take your eyes off the world and look to Jesus. Do you realize how much you need Jesus in your life?
Christians are going to be leaving earth in the Rapture of the church-coming very soon. Then it will be a time of hell on earth-No Joke. Satan in flesh will come on the scene and take over the earth. Check Revelation Chapter 13 for more details. You can escape this and be in heaven with God.
This present Evil world only offers you Emptiness, sin and Satan. Satan will take over and be the false messiah, the Superman the world has always wanted. Then he will stamp you (like branding a cow) it will be his seal of ownership called, “THE MARK OF THE BEAST,”
Finally, and most important is this, YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR A FACT THAT JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR OWN PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR. God is real and so is Satan. Heaven is real and so is hell. Sin has always separated us from God because of who God is. He cannot and will never accept sin but He will forgive it, because Jesus paid for sin for us. Jesus came to earth and died a cruel death on the cross to pay for our sins and satisfy God’s judgement. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he (GOD) hath made him (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection was for us, and gives us FORGIVENESS and eternal Salvation.
It is free to us, but it cost Jesus His very life to pay for our sins. Will you bow your heart and turn from yourself and turn to God? Will you ask for forgiveness and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? Will you put your faith and trust in Jesus? I assure you on the word of God that He will save you and give you a new life in Christ. Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall (ASK) call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Bow your heart and ask God. This is one prayer God will ALWAYS answer. GOD CAN FILL YOUR EMPTINESS WITH LOVE AND JOY-AMEN.
