This article is called, “WHAT IF JESUS SHOWED UP IN PERSON.” Think about this question for a moment. What would you do? Would you ever recognize Him? God told Jeremiah this. Jeremiah 29:11-13 “ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. ¹² Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. ¹³ And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Have you ever wondered what God or Jesus thinks about you? Someone reading this just had a full body shiver. What would instantly change or hide? 

If you knew ahead of time Jesus was coming in person, what would you do? Clean house, go grocery shopping, set out the Bible and dust it off? Arrange a special barbecue for Him. Would you purchase the best beer for Him? How would you dress? What would your conversation be with the Lord? In the New Testament Jesus went to visit different people in their houses. The Bible records how Jesus visited 12 different houses during His life. If Jesus went to church with you, what would He find? 

WHAT WOULD JESUS THINK OF CHURCHES TODAY

I believe the majority of churches would make Him sick. Would Jesus even be welcome there? Would Jesus fit in with their program or doctrine? Matthew 24:37 “For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” As it was so shall it be. As John Scott says. “Christ was always in Conflict with the Religious Rulers. Jesus argued that we would experience a supernatural afterlife, that our natural existence is not all God has planned. Jesus disagreed that human tradition should not supersede Scripture, our foundational authority.” Remember how it was in the days of Noah? I have a few questions?

1. Would Jesus buy Joel Osteen’s book and learn how to be rich just like Osteen? God wants the best for you and wants everyone to be rich.  NOPE. Matthew 26:11 “For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.” Luke 12:21 “So is he that layeth up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.” Christian’s payday awaits us in Heaven. Rewarded for our service to God.

2, What would Jesus think of the old man sitting in the Vatican, who claims to rule in Jesus’ place on earth? While Jesus rules in heaven? ANATHEMA. Isaiah 42:8 “I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”

3, Would Jesus endorse the New Apostolic Reformation doctrine? ABSOLUTELY NOT! There are no modern-day Apostles and Prophets. Sign gifts and working of miracles ceased with the end of the Apostles age when they died, click the blue link, go see. 

4. Would Jesus demand Jet Airplanes for Ministry and million dollars Mansion as success? NO. A jet would only slow Jesus down, He does not need one. Heaven is Jesus and our home and mansion.

5. Would Jesus endorse all the Mega Churches with false gospels and false doctrines they teach and preach? NO. Jude 1:6 “These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.” And II Peter 2:18 “For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error.”

6. Would Jesus condemn so-called churches that bear his name, teaching and preaching false Religions. YES Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 “SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN.” False doctrines and false Religions. Liars about the truth.

7. Would Jesus condemn Charlatans who use “Jesus’ Name” and claim “spectacular.” healings, languages, and Miracle which no longer exist? Yes, He would condemn that. II Thessalonians 2:9 ” Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders.”

8. What would Jesus think of their saying, “IF JESUS DID IT, WE CAN DO IT.” Well, Jesus died on a cross for all sin, I do not see any of them doing it. In addition, Jesus did not handle snakes, but in Matthew 12:34 Jesus called the RELIGIOUS snakes. “³⁴ O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”

9. What would Jesus think of all the women evangelists and preachers taking authority over men in so-called ministry? I Timothy 2:12 “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” IN THE CHURCH. Can women teach other women in church classes YES? Understand in the Corinthian church women had taken over the church and were proudly displaying their authority and spiritual gifts they felt were superior.

10.What would Jesus think of the Health and Wealth so-called Gospel? Galatians 6:6-8 “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ, unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.⁸ But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

11. What will Jesus do when all of these counterfeiters stand before Him on Judgement Day? Mattthew 7:22-23 “ Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

CONCLUSION

I started out asking, “What if Jesus showed up in person?” Would He even be welcome in what is today called churches. Let me be clear on one thing. The church is the body of Christ, not a building. Jesus destroyed the need for a building to have access to God. I moved on to what would Jesus think of churches today. What we call Christianity and other Religious are basically centered around the building in our society and world.

Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Faith and trust in Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection give us salvation, forgiveness of sin, and redemption. All religions are based on mankind’s personal works for a false Salvation. This means mankind works for and earns their way to heaven which is totally false.

This world has degenerated into new progressive agenda’s even within what we call the church. Political correctness is dominating every country and has already moved into the church, demanding acceptance of all their false claims and doctrine. Now listen closely. “WHO IS THE AUTHORITY?” GOD OR GOVERNMENT? This is a large issue. Political Correctness with its new words and new definitions? Throw in hate speech, and new immoral laws, that takes away Christians and Parents rights. 

GLOBALISM, HUMANISM, AND SATANISM HAS INVADED THE CHURCHES. The worlds immoral standards have replaced God’s standard for faith and practice. It is getting hard to distinguish the church from the world. The most popular churches today are those who cater to entertainment rather than the gospel of Christ. It is all about what is called Praise and worship. Many are nothing more than a rock concert, and light shows. The false word of faith movement has taken over so many true churches. Everyone wants the Health and Wealth gospel. I want to prosper, and I want more.

Even the word of God is omitted. Does Jesus even get an honorable mention? Yet some famous celebrity gets fawned over. What if Jesus showed up in person, would He be welcome? People in today’s society, now have a personal relationship with the churches, rather than a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Things are reversed. 

The messages in the pulpits are designed to please people and be kind and sweet. The message of the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for “SIN” is being extinguished and is offensive. A new “SOCIAL GOSPEL” must replace the gospel of Christ, so no one will be offended. Jesus must now be made in man’s image and beliefs. The message on their church sign should read, “Come on in and sin, everyone is welcome.”

Where will you be when Jesus does show up in person, for the soon coming Rapture of the church? If you are a Christian, then you will know and be removed from earth and taken to heaven. If you are not a Christian than you will still be here holding on to a man-made Religion that can send you to hell. Then you will have a new false god named Satan/Antichrist, who will take ownership over you, brand you like an animal and give you his Mark of ownership, Revelation 13.

Dear Reader, here is the truth from Gods Word. You will meet Jesus in person one day. It will be as your Lord and Savior or as your Judge as the Great White Throne judgement as your enemy. This is and will be your choice. The world wants to banish the word SIN. But sin exist and is what has separated us from God. Jesus came to earth, died a cruel death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He was God and had no sin of his own. His sacrifice on the cross satisfied God and bought forgiveness for us. Sin is why we all die in a human body Romans 6:23. Sin is a killer. Sin is what will put you in hell forever.

1.We are the sinners. 2Jesus is the Savior. 3. Jesus came to save sinners. Salvation and forgiveness is Gods free gift to you for the asking. Will you turn from yourself and turn to God for forgiveness? Romans 10:13 says, For who so ever shall call (ASK) on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Will you bow your heart right now and call on God for forgiveness. I promise you that you will never regret becoming God’s child.
