                                                                          INTRODUCTION

This article is called, “Why Did God Require Animal Sacrifices Part 2.” I do hope you have read Part 1. I will continue on with Part 2. The first thing I want to say may sound strange but it has a very important meaning. I have start this article with a most important question? “WHY THE BLOOD AND WHY THE BLOOD OF JESUS?” I believe the answer is this. “SIN IS SO HORRIBLE AND CONTRARY TO WHO GOD REALLY IS. GOD DEMANDS PERFECTION AND WILL ACCEPT NOTHING LESS. ONLY GOD COULD PROVIDE THE SACRIFICE OF BLOOD THAT HE WILL ACCEPT.

ONLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS SATISFIED WHAT GOD DEMANDED AS A PAYMENT FOR ALL SIN.” Hebrews chapter 9 gives us a discourse as to why the blood, but here is the short version. Hebrew 9:22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (OF SINS). THE BLOOD OF CHRIST IS THE BASIS OF THE NEW COVENANT/NEW TESTAMENT. When He shed His blood on the cross, He did away with the Old Covenant requirement for the continual sacrifices of animals. Their blood was not sufficient to cover the sins of the people, except on a temporary basis, because ALL sin against a holy and infinite God who requires a holy and infinite sacrifice. Got questions .com.

I will make a statement here that may offend you but, so be it. It is human nature. “IF YOU START FEEDING FILTH IT WILL NEVER END.” And God and Satan both know this. The reason is this: the end consequences of Sin. Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” God see’s us differently than we see ourselves. What people do not want to understand is the “SIN ISSUE” in the Bible and how it broke mankind’s relationship and fellowship with God.

God is on a whole different level than any human. Mankind today wants to pull God down to their level, and make Him like them. Isaiah 55:9 ““For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

WHY THE JEWS MISSED AND REJECTED JESUS

I am no Jew basher or hater. I have absolutely no dislike or grudge against any Jew on this planet. To the contrary I pray that God will bless them and open their eyes. Here is the background. Jesus was their Messiah God promised. He was not the Messiah the religious rulers wanted. The Jews were slaves in their own country to the Romans who had conquered them. They had no rights and freedoms at all except the rights the Romans gave them. The Jews were under the law of Moses and the “Old Covenant/Old Testament.”

They had their temple and did the animal sacrifices everyday. THIS WAS ALL THEY KNEW, THE LAW. The Religious rulers were the leaders and the ones who had any rights or freedoms. Yet they hated their Roman masters and wanted them dead and gone. Their Messiah did come and it was Jesus, sent from God. They wanted a Messiah who would come, defeat the Romans, run them out of Isreal, and send them packing back to Rome. They wanted the Messiah that had been promised to set up the Millennium Kingdom and reign for a thousand years. They wanted to be set free by the prince and warrior King, promised to them.

As got questions .com says, “The Jews rejected Jesus because He failed, in their eyes, to do what they expected their Messiah to do—destroy evil and all their enemies and establish an eternal kingdom with Israel as the preeminent nation in the world. The prophecies in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 describe a suffering Messiah who would be persecuted and killed, but the Jews chose to focus instead on those prophecies that discuss His glorious victories, not His crucifixion.

Many followers shouted praises to God for the mighty works they had seen Jesus do and called out, “Hosanna, save us,” when He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey (Matthew 21:9). They treated Him like a conquering king. Then, when He allowed Himself to be arrested, tried, and crucified on a cursed cross, the people stopped believing that He was the promised prophet. They rejected their Messiah (Matthew 27:22). Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, did many miracles before everyone.

The religious rules could not do that and saw Him as a threat to their authority. They tried many times to get Him to contradict the law but could not trap him. They said, John 11:48 “If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.” Also the religious rulers said, John 11:50 “Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.” The Religious rulers got the job done of killing Jesus by the Romans hands.

Yet Israel rejected her prophesied Messiah, and the promises of the kingdom of heaven were postponed. A veil of spiritual blindness fell upon the eyes of the Jews, who previously were the most spiritually discerning people. As Paul explained, this hardening on the part of Israel led to the blessing of the Gentiles who would believe in Jesus and accept Him as Lord and Savior.

They fulfilled Gods plans and did not know it. Jesus was the suffering servant. After Jesus death, burial and resurrection, the religious rulers went after the Apostles of the church and persecuted them. Convincing the Roman authorities that the Apostle were a threat to their authority and wanted to over throw Rome. Just more lies to try and extinguish Christianity. (ACTS CHAPTER 2). In the very end these Apostles were martyred for the name of Jesus, all except for John.

Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, fulfilled ALL of the Old Testament law, and every animal sacrifice of blood shedding. His perfect sacrifice completed every animal sacrifice once for all and forever. Hebrews 10:12-18 “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 This is the covenant (New Covenant) that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering (sacrifice) for sin.” Hebrews 10:12-18.

CONCLUSION

True Christians have no hatred of any Jew. We pray for them. Do not confuse real Christians with the Roman Catholic Church which is a “CULT” and does not represent Christianity. Jews remember their history well and has never forget how the Roman Catholic Church with the Roman army, went back to Isreal and demanded forced conversion of the Jews to Catholicism or die. That is not Christianity. True Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and our soon coming King. Real Christians do not hate Jews or want to force them into anything, but we love and respect the Jews, and pray for the peace of Israel.

Two thousand years after He came to the nation of Israel as their Messiah, Christ is still (for the most part) rejected by the Jews. Many Jews today (some say at least half of all living Jews) identify themselves as Jewish but prefer to remain “secular.” They identify with no particular Jewish movement and have no understanding or affiliation with any Jewish biblical roots. The concept of Messiah as expressed in the Hebrew Scriptures or Judaism’s “13 Principles of Faith” is foreign to most Jews today.

I find there are things that my Jewish friends do not want to discuss or talk about. For example: Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me, whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.” My Jewish friend DO NOT want to answer “who is this?”

But it is from their own sacred scriptures. Just like John 19:37 “And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.” The Bible is not a wicked evil false book. It was written by Jews for Jews and Gentiles. Dear Jewish Reader, we have the same Messiah. The Bible will not bite you. Yet most Jews fear or are not allowed to see what it says. Neither will they discuss Isaiah chapter 53 or Psalm 22. Who are these about? Please give me a name? I say that in love. Can you be honest with yourself if you will not even read it? A book given by God with your own genealogies and beginning. To my Jewish friends, Surely you would understand the Book of HEBREWS in the New Testament? Or are you really afraid that “GOD MIGHT SPEAK TO YOU?”

Jesus was and is the end of the Old Testament animal sacrificial system. His death burial and resurrection from the dead fulfilled all the requirements of the Law, because He was God in flesh. SATAN’S GOAL HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO KEEP YOU AWAY FROM GOD AND GIVE YOU, “YOUR OWN VERSION, OF GOD AND SALVATION, through works“ (His Version), his Religion, the worship of himself. (SATAN). Read Daniel chapter 7 and 9. During the Tribulation Satan will do it again by declaring HE IS GOD and everyone on the earth will fall down and worship him. He will brand you like an animal, place his mark on you as his sign of ownership, Revelation 13:16-17. Anyone taking his mark is doomed for hell. Thank God, The Holy Spirit lives in every true child of God. He protects from the attacks and works of Satan.

Dear Reader, Christianity is not a religion. Again, It is a personal relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit of God. Salvation is realizing who we are, lost sinners without God. Our sin put Jesus on a cruel cross, and he died for our sins. He was God in flesh and had no sin of His own. Jesus paid the death penalty for us and for our sins. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he (GOD) hath made him (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus was our substitute and took our place, and punishment for our sins.. Do not let Satan rob you of eternal salvation in heaven. Satan wants to take everyone away from God and take you to hell with him, for all eternity. Do not let Satan deceive you with a false version of God and Salvation.

If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have never been forgiven for sin, will you turn from yourself and turn to God for salvation and forgiveness? Will you bow your heart and call on God? Will you put your faith and trust in Jesus for Fogiveness and Salvation? Heaven is real and Hell is real. Your choose, you have free will. Religion will kill you, but Jesus will save you.

If you have prayed and received God’s forgiveness and Salvation, please let me know below in the comment section at the bottom left so I can rejoice with you. And your thoughts, opinions, and comments are welcome here, so also leave them below in the comment section. Now enjoy the beautiful song in this video. RAY
