This article is a little longer than my normal articles. The reason is because of the blessings you might recieve by reading it all. This article is called, “Why Do People Love Their Animals?” I will start with a few reason of my own. “Why must we love animals? Because they give us everything without asking for anything, because they are defenseless against the power of man, because they don’t know what hate or war is. Because they don’t know money and they they are satisfied only with a place to take refuge from the cold. Because they make themselves understood without saying a word, because their gaze is as pure as their soul. Because they do not know envy or rancor, because forgiveness is still natural in them. “GOD SHOWS US HIS LOVE THROUGH THEM.”

Because they know love with loyalty and fidelity, because they live without having a luxurious home. Because they don’t buy love, they simply wait for it and because they are companions, eternal friends that nothing can separate, because they are alive. For this and for a thousand other things they deserve our love, if we learn to love them as they deserve, we will be much closer to God“. Any animal that helps US, show love more freely, is a good thing.

GODS CREATION

Genesis Chapter 1 shows us how all the animals were created before man was. In verse 22 of Genesis Chapter God told the animals “Be fruitful, and multiply.” He told the animals first. God repeats this to mankind in verse 28 after his creation. And yes, God gave Adam dominion over all creation including the animals. I want to say something right here before I go forward. For a long time I wondered about all of the animals and their sacrifice of their lives throughout the Old Testament. It just kinda didn’t, feel right at that time to me. I had  wondered “what had the animals done? Had they sinned or deserved to die? Then of course after the fall, they were used for food. 

Then I finally realized what I believe is the true meaning. “THE LIFE OF THE FLESH IS IN THE BLOOD, EVEN ANIMALS.” I also discovered another principal, it has always been a picture of “THE INNOCENT DYING FOR THE GUILTY.” And I also think animals teach humans how to love. To so many humans animals are all they have, and are considered family members. Proverbs 12:10 says, “A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal.” WHY ARE PEOPLE DRAWN TO ANIMALS? GOD MADE IT THAT WAY.” ANIMALS HAVE AN INNOCENCE AND A DEPENDENCE ABOUT THEM.

The Bible says to us humans, I Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” We humans do not truly know what awaits for us in heaven and the blessings. Animals have feelings and emotions like we humans do; they also display happiness, anger and sadness.

Animals are loyal and protective to their owners, even when humans are not. Isaiah 11:6 65:25 shows animals here on earth after the tribulation and after the rapture, living through the 1,000 year Kingdom of Christ, here on earth. And we Christians will be here in our new glorified bodies.

We have to teach them like we do a child. I know their instincts guide them. They can be selfish. Animal have instincts and lives by them. Animals do not ask for or collect a lot of things. Their wants and needs are few. They are more givers than takers, and do not demand the newest or the best.  I have never seen an animal demand anything.  Different people have different animals, dogs, cats, horses, birds, pigs, ducks, chickens  and the list goes on and on. 

DO ANIMALS AND PETS GO TO HEAVEN

Here is the big question people wants to know. The better question should be “DO ANIMALS SIN?” I agree with Dr. Michael L. Williams and other scholars. What is sin? The Bible tells us, Animals hold a position under humans. Animals were not created in the image of God. Genesis 1:26 shows us that man had dominion over everything, and that includes animals. Sin is the transgression of God’s law. We humans are law breakers. God gave His laws to humans, not animals. CLICK ON THAT LINK IF YOU DOUBT MY STATEMENT.

We humans becaues of sin, must have a new spiritual birth from God.That is our salvation and redemption, reconcling us back to God. I find no scripture that indicates animals need salvation and God’s redemption. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus on the cross was for “ALL MAN KIND.” Thank you Jesus. 

Now that is what Sin truly is. Again God’s laws were NEVER applied or given to animals. Where there is no law, there is no sin. God does not see animals as Sinners, and animals do not pay the consequences of sin.  I have often wondered, “DO ANIMALS ACTUALLY LOVE GOD MORE THAN HUMANS” Again, I do know God has used animals, to show His Love to us. Any time God spoke to an animal in the Bible, it did exactly what God told the animal to do. God speaks to humans and they rebel against Him. “THAT DEAR READER IS SIN.”

There is a command in the Bible. Psalm 148 commands everthing that hath breath, to praise the Lord. Do animals have breath? Yes. Do you not hear the birds sing? Scientist says, birds singing is just their mating call. Is that all they are doing. Even the Bible says, God feeds the birds of the field. Revelation 5:13 Tells us about the “CREATURES in heaven singing praises to God.

Dear Reader, may I put a smile on you face and make your heart beat a little faster. C.S. Lewis was a great Christian theologian and a powerful speaker. He said and believed that animals in the Garden had the power off speech in the garden of Eden, before the fall. He also believes animals will have that same power of speech in heaven, and on the new heaven and new earth. They are praising God in heaven. Do you think they are just barking and giving a meow?

He believes you will actually be talking with your pets. Revelation 5:13 says, “Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” NOT ONLY WILL AMIMALS TALK, BUT THEY WILL SING.” Now that is a real blessing-AMEN AND THANK YOU JESUS.

Revelation 21 shows how in the end God said, I will make all things new. A new heaven and a new earth.  It will be re-populated. I cannot picture this without animals. Many scholars call this the new garden of Eden and paradise. Paradise restored. So, please tell me what all was in the garden of Eden. We do know there will be no more sin.

One more time for total understanding: Animals were NOT made in God’s image, humans were. God did NOT breath His own breath of Life into animals, Humans were made in the image of God, animals were not. God does not see animals as law breakers or sinners, just we humans. 1 John 3:4 tells us, “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”  Many scholars throughout history have said, Get ready to meet your pets in heaven. Understand SIN has always been laid at mankinds door step, not animals.

WHAT DO ANIMALS TEACH US? 

What should human learn from animals. First, how to love. Many animals will sacrifice their life for you. Animals are used in various kinds of therapy. They go into Hospitals, nursing home facilities and bring joy and comfort to many sick and lonely people. I have seen many video’s of terminally ill people whose pet and animal was allowed in their facility, and had the opportunity to say “GOODBYE” to their owners.

I have also watched many the video’s of their animals at the grave site of their masters. Not just the funerals, but the grave for weeks and years grieving the loss of their owners. I believe God put that in them, and they do understand loss and death. Instincts? Debbie’s dogs alerts her before she has a seizure, where did they get that ability? Animals have so many different purposes that we just overlook. I have had dogs, 1 cat and 1 bird.

We also know that animals have a higher sense of smell and hearing. Do animals detect things we humans do not? Do animals detect “GODS PRESENCE, OR ANGEL’S PRESENCE, WHEN WE DO NOT?”

There are many Bible Scholars must smarter than me. They state how they firmly believe that animals and pets will be in heaven. We do already know from scripture many of what is called the living creatures are there and horses. At the second coming of Christ, He is riding a white horse, and we Christians, will be coming back to earth with Him, and we are also riding horses. 

CONCLUSION

I do not like Vipers and Vermin. I think they represent symbolically something else or someone else. I do know how the snake lent its body to Satan all the way back in the garden fo Eden and was cursed for it, Genesis 3:14-15. Many humans do not understand how Adam was placed over ALL of Gods’ Creation. When the fall of humanity came so did the fall of all creation and the fall of all creatures. Adam had even named all the animals and creatures. Genesis 2:20. Even among all of God’s creation He knew Adam was not complete, there was no one else like him. So, God made him a helper who came from Adam’s rib. Genesis 2:21-23. 

I have stated earlier in this article and asked, “WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM ANIMALS?” Here it is. God created the animal kingdom before humans. He knew we would need them after the fall of mankind. He also wanted to show us how to love by their example. In one sense they reflect God’s love for us. We all need that understanding. You can look in an animals eyes and see where they are saying, “DO YOU WANT ME?” GOD SAYS THE SAME THING, DO YOU WANT ME?”

I have found out in life, people go out and choose the animal they want or like. The best way and best animal is the one who chooses YOU. WILL AN ANIMAL THAT LOVES YOU SACRIFICE THEIR LIFE FOR YOU OR A CHILD? ABSOLUTELY YES. God is the same way, “HE HAS ALREADY CHOSEN YOU.” So, will you accept or reject Him?”

Here is the most assuring chapter in the Bible. JOHN CHAPTER 10. This chapter explains to use about our relationship to Christ in the most unique way, in the Bible. Jesus give us this concept for understanding. This may be the most comforting passage in the whole Bible. Jesus explains that Christians belong to Him. Verse 7 “ Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.” Verse 11 “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” Verse 14-17 “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. ¹⁵ As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

¹⁶ And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. ¹⁷ Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.”  Verse 28 “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” The word “SHEEP” appears 40 times in the New Testament, there is a bit reason for that.

Notice: I give them eternal life, they shall never perish and no one can ever take them away from me-THANK YOU JESUS. That is eternal Love, Salvation, and Forgiveness. JESUS IS REFERRED TO IN THE BIBLE AS THE LAMB OF GOD ALSO. Every time in the Bible that God spoke to an animal it did exactly what God told it to do. God speaks to humans and humans say, “NO.” Animals not only teach us about LOVE but they also teach us about “DEATH.”

The greatest sign of God’s love for us was on display when He sent Jesus to come to earth and die on an old rugged cross for our sins. Sin has separated us from God, from His forgiveness and Salvation. Jesus paid the penalty and payment for our sin so that we could be reconciled back to God and be forgiven. Sin is a killer just look at Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23, that is why we all die. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Sin is why everyone dies in our flesh bodies. But we live on in eternity. You choose where you will spend eternity, in heaven or hell.

Will you turn from yourself and turn to God for forgiveness and Salvation? Will you put your faith and trust in Jesus for Eternal Salvation? Will you bow your heart, and call upon God. I Corinthians 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” I promise you on the authority of God’s word, that he will save you, forgive you and make you, His child. HE IS THE SUPREME AUTHORITY WHO POSSESSES ALL POWER AND HAS ALREADY SHOWN HIS ETERNAL LOVE TO YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD. Let God’s Righteous, eternal love, change your life, and save your soul eternally. II Corinthians 5:21 “For He (GOD) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
