This is quiet a title for an article, “You Can Be Saved and be Ignorant.” I want to address this article primarily to those who claim to be Christians. But it definitely refers to non-Christians also. Let’s face it, we have ALL in our lifetime done or said some very stupid stuff. Many times, a person’s tongue moves faster than their brain. That raises the question then, do what I call IGNORANT starts in the brain? Matthew 12:34 says, “Matthew 12:34, ‘Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” (The heart being the mind, will and emotions). Luke 6:45 says, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

Let me clarify something right here. I am not a hater who wants to call people stupid and ignorant. Here is the context in which I am speaking. Many people are “IGNORANT OF GODS WORD,” They have not studied to get the true meaning of what God says. (LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ), makes it easier for someone to be DECIEVED. In so many cases like this, those people will rely generally on what they have EXPERIENCED. Biblically speaking their experience may be true or false. I Thessalonians 4:13 ““But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,”

SO LETS HEAR IT

From got questions website. “Jesus says that people can be judged by what they say and do because these things reveal what is really inside the person: “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” If you want to know what is on the inside of a person, you simply watch his actions; listen to what comes out of his mouth on a regular basis. This is not being judgmental; this is being realistic.”

“If a person is angry, rude, lewd, or immoral on a regular basis, you can be assured that this is what he is like “on the inside.” If a person is consistently kind, encouraging, and polite, then you can be sure that is what he is like “on the inside.” Of course, it is possible that someone might put up a façade to deceive others regarding his character, but eventually what is inside will come out. The mouth speaks out of the abundance—the overflow—of the heart.”

Abraham Lincoln is the one who said, “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and to remove all doubt.” There is a big element of truth in that statement. How many times do we hear something that sounds really good and spread it? Just to find out later it was totally false. Then regret comes and you want to kick yourself, for being ignorant enough to believe it and spread it. (I THINK THE WORD FOR THAT IS CALLED GOSSIP). Here is a prime example: Why do you believe everything you hear or see on the News or internet? 

Now here is a very important statement. YOUR DEEDS SHOWS WHO YOU ARE SERVING. WHAT YOU THINK AND WHAT YOU BELIEVE DETERMINES YOUR ACTIONS (WHAT YOU WILL DO). 

CAN YOU BE DECIEVED AND SAVED?

We just looked at what God has said about humans and their inner being, the mind and the heart. What is inside comes out of us through the mouth in words and deeds. Every person has said and done stupid things. Being saved, being a Christian, does not erase or take away our own sinful human nature. A Christians real battle is fighting their own flesh, the world and the devil. The Bible has a lot to say about “DECEPTION” and Christians are warned against it. Satan is a master of deception. The Bible says Satan is the father of all lies. I have seen and known too many people who firmly believe doing many religious works, equals SALVATION. Some denominations thrive on a “WORKS SALVATION.” It is a performance gospel of your own works, or church mandated works, that gets you to heaven. 

Why do you think there are so many different Religions in this world? Would it surprise you to know that Satan knows exactly what Salvation is, and who is the author of Salvation, and what it takes to be saved. I did a long study on Religions of the world. Scholars say that since the beginning of time as we know it, there has been over 4200 Religions throughout history. I promise you on the authority of God’s Word, that God did NOT create all those religions. So, you should be able to figure out and know who did start them. NOTE: “BEWARE OF ANY SO-CALLED CHURCH OR RELIGION, WHO PUTS THEMSELVES IN CHARGE OF YOUR SALVATION OR CLAIMS THEY HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO TAKE AWAY YOUR SALVATION.”

CAN YOU BE SAVED AND IGNORANT, OR MISINFORMED?

I will use CAPS in this part because I feel the need to show emphasis to the content.

SOME DENOMINATIONS ARE ADDICTED TO MOUNTAIN TOP EXPERIENCES OF STIMULATION AND GRATIFICATION. TOO MANY ARE SEEKING AND SEARCHING FOR THAT EXPERIENCE, RATHER THAN CHRIST. THERE IS A REAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SEEKING JESUS CHRIST AND SEEKING THE EXPERIENCE. ALSO NEVER FORGET SATAN WILL ALWAYS BE READY TO GIVE YOU SOME EXPERIENCE THAT IS ADDICTIVE.

GODS WILL AND GODS’ WAY IS FOUND IN GODS WORD. WE ARE TOLD TO BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT. THE WORD FOR FILLED IS THE WORD CONTROLLED BY THE SPIRIT. TOO MANY SEEK THE GREAT POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT RATHER THAN THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. I DO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “FIRE AND WILDFIRE. ONE IS CONTROLLED AND THE OTHER IS OUT OF CONTROL. GOD DOES NOT HAVE TO SHOUT TO GET YOUR ATTENTION BUT DOES OFTEN SPEAK IN THAT STILL SMALL VOICE.

PEOPLE GRAVITATE TO THE MIRACULOUS AND SPECTACULAR FOR SOME RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE THAT IS NOT BIBLICAL, EVEN CLAIMING MIRACLEOUS GIFTS THAT NO LONGER EXIST ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD. THEIR ATTITUDE IS “IF THE APOSTLES DID IT THEN WE CAN DO IT.” THEN YOU HAVE DENOMINATIONS ORDAINING SO CALLED MINISTERS TODAY TO BECOME APOSTLES-NOPE THAT IS FAKE. THIS IS WHAT SOME DENOMINATIONS CENTER AROUND AND FOCUS ON.

I SEE AND HEAR ON THE TELEVISION AND INTERNET ABOUT THE “SUPERNATURAL” AND THOSE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. LET ME EXPLAIN SOMETHING TO YOU THAT IS A BIBLICAL FACT. YES THERE ARE GIFTS FOR SERVICE TO THE LORD. THERE IS ONLY 1 SUPREME SUPERNATURAL GIFT GIVEN TO EVERY BELIEVER IN CHRIST. THAT IS THE GIFT OF SALVATION AND THE RECONCILATIONS AND FORGIVENESS BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH THE DEATH BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST. AMEN AND AMEN. EPHESIANS 2:8-9

You seriously have to ask, are they seeking the experience or seeking Christ? I Corinthians chapter 12 explains the gifts the Holy Spirit gave to the church for service and ministry. I Corinthians chapter 13 is known as the LOVE CHAPTER in the Bible. It also shows that any and all gifts are worthless unless ministered by “LOVE.” I Corinthians chapter 14 gives the proper use of the spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit. 

Here is the question of the day so please ponder on it seriously. “IS THIS A REAL HUNGER FOR GOD THAT PEOPLE ARE SEEKING AND CRAVING, OR THE EXPERIENCE?” It is really so sad to watch and see believers being feed false doctrine and fake miracles. It is also sad to watch Christians being deceived by those who use things like the prosperity Gospel and other false doctrines to line their pockets with millions of dollars. 

It is also sad to watch Fake Healings and spectacular displays of God’s Power that they do NOT possess. And the sad part is how the people swallow it. Dear Reader, quit putting your faith and trust in man to solve your problems. Here is a real part of the problem so click the link and see.                                                 

CONCLUSION

I want to explain why I am writing this article. There are too many people being lied to and deceived into believing this is way God works in our world today. It is possible that you are caught up into a “CULT” and do not realize it. Lets see what God says about it. In Corinthians 12:27-31 ” ²⁷ Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. ²⁸ And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. ²⁹ Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? ³⁰ Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? ³¹ But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.” The more excellent way is chapter 13 LOVE. The answer to each question that Paul ask here is a definite NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. 

I Corinthians 13 “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. ² And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, (LOVE), I am nothing, ³ And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. ⁸ Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. ⁹ For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. ¹⁰ But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.” So, which is more valuable?

Feel free to disagree with me but what I posted is God’s Word, accept it or reject it. Here is what really scares me for many people, and it is the words of Jesus, not my word. Matthew 7:22-24 “ Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? ²³ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Dear Reader, I want to make a very true statement. I hope that you have a real hunger for God and a personal relationship with Him. That is what Salvation is all about. I really do not have to tell you about fakes and counterfeits. They are evident worldwide.  Please do not change your personal relationship with Jesus Christ for some experiences which is not Biblical.
