This article is called “Your Own Version of God and Salvation.” Yes, every person does have their own version of God and Salvation. This is true even for atheist who state there is no God. That is their own personal version. And boy, do I have to say there are thousands of versions. Can I prove that? Yes, I can. Do you have any idea of how many “FALSE RELIGIONS” there has been? Each one has its own version. Scholars who are much smarter than me, who have studied Religions for years state, “from the beginning of time as we know it here on earth, there has been over 4200 False Religions and 8747 false gods through history.” Click on the blue link.
Humans by nature are religious and always have been. Even back in untouched areas of the Amazon, those inhabitants have a totem pole or something they worship. Many worship the sun the moon, the stars and look for other galaxies. If you do your homework and check you will find out how many false deities are named after the sun, moon, and stars.
ALL THE FALSE GODS
The question to be asked is where did all the false “gods” come from.I submit that they all came from Satan’s version of himself. The Bible calls Satan the god of this world. II Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” FALSE gods NEEDS FALSE PROPHETS, FALSE TEACHERS, AND FALSE DOCTRINES. They go hand in hand. They may all be the different fingers on the same hand. The false gods are in contrast to the true God and has many counterfeit religions.
Deuteronomy 32:16-17, shows us how idols are connected to demons. It connects pagan worship with evil spirits. And what did Paul the Apostle say in I Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.”
LUCIFER/SATAN
Who is he? Most people will say he is the Devil. That much they know. But how much do they really know about their most powerful enemy who hates them? And if he hates you, then understand he hates God more. Lucifer was created as the most powerful and most intelligent “CREATURE” ever created by God. He held the highest position in heaven of any angel. Isaiah 14:12-14 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Ezekiel 28:15 says of Lucifer, “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.” I do h0pe you noticed the 5 “I-wills?” Pride was Lucifers sin against God. God has a hate list and pride is number one on it. Proverbs 6:16-19. Dear Human, be very careful of your own self-will/PRIDE.
Understand something. GOD IS ALL POWERFUL, NOTHING IS MORE POWERFUL THAN GOD. Lucifer could not be more powerful than God, but he wanted to be “LIKE GOD.” Look above, I will be LIKE the Most High. 1/3 of the angels followed Lucifer in their rebellion against God. This was their FALL FROM HEAVEN.
Mankind’s creation. God puts creation in Adams hands. (not Satan’s hands). Genesis 1;26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion. Satan was never made in God’s image and was never given dominion over everything (but he wanted it in heaven). Satan enters the Garden of Eden and what was the lie he told Adam and Eve? Genesis 3:5 “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” Sin came upon humans.
What was the promise God made to Satan? Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Do you think the most powerful intelligent creature did not know what that meant? Do you think Satan could not read Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” He understood Messiah was coming.
Who started the mother son cult, from the Babylonian Religion, starting with Nimrod and his mother/wife Semiramis. It still mirrors todays Catholics worship of a false cult of Mary and son. Click the blue link.
Mankind multiplied and increased the earth. Satan continued his work on earth. I believe his plan was to stop Gods work in humanity. Mankind, cultures and civilization grew and flourished. And Satan was right there to influence it. No matter what culture or civilization you go to, the idolatry is the same, because the same demons are behind it!
Wherever a new culture and civilization sprang up so did the worship of false gods and new Religions. What was and is the first of Gods 10 commandments to his chosen people? Exodus 20:2-3 “I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
The children of Israel had just come out of Egypt which had hundreds of gods. When God plagued Egypt, he plagued them with what they called their own gods. Who were the famous powerful magical gods of the Greeks? Who were the 12 most important Roman gods? Rome also had many. And so did each civilization that existed and exist today. There are too many more to list. I wanted to show Satan’s work through history from our beginning.
We still have false cults today called “RELIGIONS.” There are plenty of “FALSE GODS” to go around in our modern-day world. Unfortunately, this is true for some so-called Christian Religions. I repeat this verse here again for better understanding. I Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” We live in a day in which different denominations claim to be Christian. But they have a false “JESUS.”
Let me explain something to you. Satan is always willing to give you an experience, something you can really feel. Satan has crept into different so-called Christian Denominations. He will mix a little Biblical truth with a lot of error. He offers the “SPECTACULAR” version of sign gifts and miracles that no longer exist. The sad part is how people jump on board and place their faith and trust in this emotional experience, as proof of salvation. That becomes their own version of God and Salvation.
Here is what the Apostle Paul told Timothy. II Timothy 4:1-4 “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” Satan’s greatest tools has always been, LIES, DECEPTION AND THE PERVERSION OF GODS’ WORD.
CONCLUSION
Dear Reader, very soon the Rapture of the Church will take place and all true Christians will go home to heaven. The 7-year Tribulation will start upon earth. The Superman the world has always wanted with come on the scene and mesmerize the world. He will be Satan in flesh, he will personally demon possess a human. I have tried to show how Satan’s false doctrine and false religions took place since our beginning. It is still real today.
SATAN’S GOAL HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO KEEP YOU AWAY FROM GOD AND GIVE YOU,“YOUR OWN VERSION OF GOD AND SALVATION“ (His Version). During the Tribulation he will do it again by declaring HE IS GOD and everyone on the earth will fall down and worship him. He will brand you like an animal, place his mark on you as his sign of ownership, Revelation 13:16-17. Anyone taking his mark is doomed for hell. Thank God, The Holy Spirit lives in every true child of God. He protects from the attacks and works of Satan.
Dear Reader, Christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. Salvation is realizing who we are, lost sinners without God. Our sin put Jesus on a cruel cross, and he died for our sins. He was God in flesh and had no sin of His own. Jesus paid the death penalty for us and for our sins. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he (GOD) hath made him (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus was our substitute and took our place. Do not let Satan rob you of eternal salvation in heaven. Satan wants to take everyone away from God and take you to hell with him for all eternity. Do not let Satan deceive you with a false version of God and Salvation.
If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have never been forgiven for sin, will you turn from yourself and turn to God for salvation and forgiveness? Will you bow your heart and call on God? Will you put your faith and trust in Jesus for Salvation?
